Tips for Being in Control of Your Bids

DealDash

Part of DealDash is making sure that you’re in control of your bids and staying within your budget. Here are some tips from DealDash to help.

You wouldn’t pay $100 for a hamburger, so why would you spend 1,000 bids on a small trinket? It’s very important when you have fun on DealDash that you pay attention to what you’re doing and stay within whatever budget that you’ve set for yourself. Sometimes you can lose track of things in the heat of the moment, so here are some ideas to keep you on track and within budget.

Set Your Budget, Set Your BidBuddy

If you know exactly how many bids that you want to spend on a particular auction, then there’s really no need to stick around. That’s what the BidBuddy is for! The BidBuddy is there to bid for you and do exactly as you want him to do. For instance, if it’s a “Free Auction Weekend,’ then you know that it’s safe to bid it up to exactly the retail price so you can BIN (Buy It Now) if you don’t win. So, personally, I would just put in enough bids to reach the BIN price, and then walk away. Because for me, if I stay and watch the auction action, occasionally I get too involved and end up adding more and more and more bids to the BidBuddy! So now, I put in the bids to reach the BIN, and walk away. It works for me.

Keep an Eye on Your Bids While Bidding

If setting the BidBuddy and walking away isn’t really your style or preference, then, by all means, stay and watch! Or even just place single click bids, with DealDash it’s all up to you! However, when you’re bidding, be sure that you keep a very close watch on your bids. Your bids are very easy to watch and keep track of, they are located at the top right of your screen. When you’re placing single bids it’s extremely important to watch your bids. When you use the BidBuddy it’s a lot easier to keep track of them.

Buy Your Bids When They are Cheap!

Saving money is important, and most people like to stick to a budget for the month. So if your budget for bids is $50, great, save it until the bids are .12-.14. If you are ready to buy bids and the price is .17,18,19, then wait! The price of bids fluctuate from day to day, so save your $50 and wait!

Tips to Follow for Big DealDash Wins

DealDash

If you’re looking for big wins, then DealDash is where it’s at! Follow these tips to get more wins than ever before.

Big wins, small wins, any kind of wins are great. And you know what? When you keep winning the small auctions so much that they start to become easy for you, then it’s time to move on to the big wins on DealDash. Winning the big auctions is more of a marathon than a sprint, you need to play the long game and think ahead rather than trying to be sneaky and steal a win. If it’s a really big auction, then it’s doubtful that you’ll be able to win it without a fight – but you never know, stranger things have happened! Read on for more tips from DealDash regarding big wins.

Playing the Long Game

When you have decided to go after the big wins after being successful at smaller auctions you need to change up your strategy a little bit. Just think, when you are trying to get a smaller win then you try to sneak in with a quick win with just a few bids. When you are going after a bigger prize then you should be sure to get a few bids in before the $5 No Jumper limit, but after that, I would sit back and wait for a bit, if I were you. This could cause you to lose the auction if someone DOES get an amazingly quick win, but in most cases, you have some time to stop bidding for a bit, sit, watch, and strategize.

However, If it’s Really Important

However, if this auction is extremely important to you, then perhaps you can aim to be the first bidder as well as the last bidder. If this big auction that you have your eye on is something that you actually need, then by all means put in enough bids to reach the Buy It Now (BIN) limit. For example, if your iPad just broke, or if you really need a new TV, or maybe you lost your digital camera on vacation – these would be perfect times to go ahead and go “all in” and bid the auction up to the limit. Remember, when you BIN an auction for the retail price you’ll get all of your bid back when you pay for the item. Every single bid will be returned to your account to use again on something else. You will get free shipping as well, and get to keep all of the clock time that you accrued during the auction. Depending on the retail price of the auction, that could be a LOT of clock time!

DealDash Best Experience Tips

DealDash

Have you been enjoying your DealDash experience so far? Read on for the top tips to have the best DealDash experience in the world.

People love bidding on auctions and exploring the DealDash website. But are they really having the best experience that they can? I can’t answer that question, but I can tell you what to do to have your best DealDash experience. Don’t worry, there’s nothing too difficult or time-consuming that needs to be done. Without further ado, here are the top tips for getting your best experience out of DealDash.

Use the BidBuddy

I’ve said it 100 times, but I am willing to say it 101 times – use your BidBuddy! Almost every auction is won with the BidBuddy. Most auctions run for multiple hours at a time, you really don’t want to have to sit there and keep clicking the “bid” button over and over again. You would be completely devastated if you had spent hours upon hours and hundreds of bids and ended up missing a click or your internet or electricity lost the connection for a second. It happened to me once in my early days of DealDash, and I vowed from then on out to use my BidBuddy every single time.

Go Into the Auction Expecting to Buy It Now (BIN)

If you enter every auction expecting to BIN the item then you will be pleasantly surprised when you win. This means that you should really only bid in auctions that you are really truly interested in winning. Of course, everyone likes to throw a few bids here and there for fun, like a scratch ticket, but when you’re serious about an item, then be “in it to BIN it!” A lot of people have a similar sentiment in their bidder bio, but in reality, it seems like that isn’t usually the case.

When you’re prepared to BIN the auctions that you enter it can be a very calming experience. It’s very comforting to know that I am really not LOSING any bids when I bid in an auction – I’m either going to win that item at a discount, or I’m going to BIN it and get all of my bids returned to me. Another great thing about BINning an auction is that you also get to keep all of the clock time that you accrued as the highest bidder. If you’re bidding on high-dollar auctions, then this can add up to a significant amount of time.

DealDash Tips for Confident Bidding

dealdash

Confidence is a great trait to have. Here are some tips from DealDash on becoming a confident bidder.

There’s a difference between being a confident bidder and being a shy or timid bidder. A confident bidder goes into every auction hoping to win but preparing to lose, and has a game plan to get their bids back. A shy or timid bidder just throws in a few bids here and there and hopes that they win. Confidence is important to have in life as well as when participating in DealDash auctions. Here are some tips and tricks from DealDash to get you started on your way to confident bidding.

Show The Room Who’s Boss

When you enter into a DealDash auction do you just put in one bid and then sit there and wait to see what happens? While you can do that, I find that putting multiple bids into your BidBuddy is a better strategy. When you put a number of bids into your BidBuddy then your BidBuddy can take its place in line with the other BidBuddies. When other bidders in the room see that your BidBuddy has been bidding in line with the other BidBuddies, then they know that you mean business, that you’re a confident bidder. No one fears a timid bidder who only bids once here and there. They know that you’ll be easy to beat.

Fill Out Your Bidder Bio with Confidence

Have you filled out your bidder bio yet? It’s the little blurb that you can write about yourself when you are filling out your bidder profile. Now, be nice and polite, but also be confident! Mean and nasty rude bidder bios are taken down, but you don’t have to be rude to get your point across that you’re a confident bidder who’s here to win some auctions.

Be Confident, There’s Always BIN

There’s no need to be a timid bidder. As long as you are bidding on things that you are willing to buy if you lose, then there’s nothing to be timid or shy about at all. There’s no need to be worried that you will lose all of your bids, because you can always get them back when you use the BIN (Buy It Now) feature on DealDash. The BIN feature lets otherwise timid and unsure bidders be confident in their risk-taking. DealDash is completely risk-free if you’re willing to BIN the item if you don’t win.
