Sometimes you’re a winner on DealDash, and sometimes you end up BINning (Buy It Now) but you should be having a fun time while you are using DealDash. If you’re not enjoying yourself then maybe you should try changing up your method of bidding. Here are some tips and ideas from DealDash.

Switch Up the Style

Most bidders on DealDash have set modus operandi that they follow, but if you want to try something different, why not do the opposite of what you normally do? If you normally do your research (which is a great idea!) why not take a break from that just for a day or two and bid on whatever moves you in the moment?

In contrast, if you are one of those “by the seat of your pants” bidders then slow it down! Do some serious research before bidding, on the product and on the other bidders. It’s fun to change your style sometimes.

Only 1 bidding account per household is allowed, but there is no rule against sharing your prize with a friend if you win! Let your friend pick something to bid on, and share it if you win.

Bid at a Different Time

Bidding at a different time can be fun and exciting. If you’re normally an after dinner bidder, bid before you leave for work in the morning. If you normally bid on your lunch hour at work, then bid right before bed. Bidding at different times might yield you different results, and you might just find yourself a new favorite time to bid.

Bid on a Variety of Items

Believe it or not, there are some people on DealDash who only bid on items in certain categories. Personally, I like to spread around the bids and bid in all categories. If you’re not regularly checking out each of the different categories you might miss an amazing auction because you didn’t know it was available.

For example, did you know that DealDash occasionally offers shoes for bid? You might think that they would be located in the Fashion, Health, and Beauty category, but they are actually located in the Hobbies, Toys, Outdoors, and Games category. So you see, it’s a good idea to regularly browse all of the categories so you don’t miss any auctions that you might be interested in bidding on.

Don’t Do These DealDash Mistakes

Beginners and experts alike make mistakes on DealDash sometimes. Most of these mistakes can be avoided by paying attention and bidding carefully. Let DealDash show you how to recognize some common mistakes so you can get all of the wins that you can.

Mistake One

One of the common mistakes that people tend to make on DealDash is not waiting for a great sale on bids! What is the bid price today? Is it more than .13? If so, then I wouldn’t buy bids unless I was totally and completely out. Of course, running out of bids is a mistake in itself that we will cover down below. As mentioned above, running out of bids in the middle of an important auction is common mistake number two. This is a really silly mistake that could end up costing you a lot of money if you get involved in a long and/or high-value auction. If you were paying attention above, you should know that you need to buy DealDash bids when they are on sale. You should also know that the optimal price to pay for these bids is around .14.

How do you know how many bids to buy, though? The simple answer is, of course, to buy the biggest bid pack that you can fit into your budget when the bids are at the optimal price. If you would like to be more specific, though, think about the price of the most expensive thing that you might want to bid on in the near future.

Once you have that dollar amount in mind, then buy the bid pack that is closest to that amount. If that amount isn’t available to buy as a bid pack then combine as many bid packs in whatever configuration that you need to reach that amount. See, easy!

Mistake Three

The third mistake is not taking advantage of the fact that DealDash offers many “regular” items that you probably buy on a regular basis for your household. If DealDash is offering an item that you were planning on buying from a Big Box store anyway, why wouldn’t you try to win it on DealDash instead? This way, if you win you save some money, and if you BIN (Buy It Now) you will get your item, the “clock time” that you earned while bidding, and free shipping as well. Do a search on DealDash and set alerts for items that you regularly buy for your household, and DealDash will send you a quick email when these items come up for auction. This way you won’t make a DealDash mistake and miss out!
