Do you love jewelry? I know I do! I have been lucky enough to win many, many jewelry auctions on DealDash. Luckily for me (and you!) DealDash often offers jewelry and watches, sometimes multiple times per day. Winning jewelry and watches on DealDash is easier than some of the auctions, but it still takes a little finesse. Here are some tips and tricks from DealDash.

Choose Your Auction Wisely

Not all auction times are created equal, and since DealDash offers jewelry and watch auctions many times per day, you can be choosy. I can’t tell you the exact time to bid so you will win, but I can tell you some of the times that you probably don’t want to bid if you’d like to snag an easy win. These are what I like to call “Prime DealDash Times”. I consider pretty much any time on the weekend to be a Prime DealDash Time, as well as the hours right after dinner leading up until bedtime. You aren’t guaranteed a win if you bid outside of these times, but your chances will be much better.

Use Your Free Bids to Win

You know those free bids that DealDash gives you every single day just for bidding on one of their auctions. It’s true all you have to do to get free bids every single day from DealDash is simply sign into your account and place at least one bid on to any DealDash auction. You will receive anywhere between 4 and 30 bids per day. Each consecutive day that you come back and bid you will receive more free bids all the way until you are receiving 30 free bids per day. If you miss a day you will go back to getting for free beds and then you will continue to work your way back up to 30 free bids per day.

It’s always wise to choose “off-peak” times to bid on auctions. However, you never know how many people are interested in the same item in a DealDash auction, so choose the time that’s right for you.

If you don’t end up winning the kitchen item that you’re seeking, don’t worry, you can always BIN it! DealDash offers the Buy It Now option on each item, no matter how many bids you have placed, even if you have over-bid. You can always BIN (Buy It Now), and pay retail price for the item and receive all of your bids back. You can do this as many times as you like, even multiple times in one day.

What would you consider yourself “the best” at doing? Maybe you’re the best cook, the best driver, or the best at sports – but are you the best bidder? The verdict is out on who the absolute best bidder is. That’s a good thing, it means that you’re still in the running! Here are some tips and tricks from DealDash to make sure that you are on your way to being the best DealDash bidder out there. Read on to find out more.

Act Like the Best Bidder

If you waltz into an auction acting like a newbie, then the other bidders are going to treat you like a newbie. How are they able to tell if you are a newbie or a seasoned DealDash bidder? Easy! If you enter an auction and you are bidding all over the place without using your BidBuddy, then they are going to know that you don’t know what you’re doing. Trust in the BidBuddy. If there are 5 people in the auction and you’re placing single bids after each bidder instead of using the BidBuddy, then you’re wasting money. The BidBuddy only bids if no one else has placed a bid. It will take turns bidding with the other BidBuddies until there are no more bids.

Buy Bids Like the Best Bidder

Does the best DealDash bidder buy bid packs when the bids are .18 per bid? No way! The best DealDash bidder buys bids when they are at their lowest prices, such as .12, .13, or .14. Buying a large bid pack when the bid prices are low can help you be the best bidder because you will have MUCH more buying power if you pay lower prices for bids. Here’s an example:

Bob wants to win a necklace for his wife. The necklace has a retail price of $100. Bob bought his bids at .18, so he puts 555 bids into his BidBuddy, which would equal the $100 BIN (Buy It Now) price.

Jennifer also wants to win the necklace, however, she bought her bids on a super sale holiday last month when they were .12. Jennifer can put 833 bids on the necklace for the same price that Bob put 555 bids. Who do you think is going to win?

The moral of the story is when bids go on sale for less than .15 you should really stock up for the future. You’re going to use the bids, why not buy in bulk and have them in your bid bank for when you need them?

DealDash has been going strong since February of 2009, and things are so different now than they were in the beginning. Things are never stale and stagnant on DealDash! With all of the different changes that have happened on DealDash over the years, it’s important for you to keep up with the tips, tricks, and suggestions that the DealDash Tips blog offers. Here are some tips that you need to keep in mind right now.

Check DealDash Every Day – Things Change Quickly

Personally, I am guilty of forgetting to check in on DealDash every day if I have a busy day with my kids. Unfortunately, that’s bad for me, because not only do I miss out on seeing what prices the bids are on those days, but I also miss out on FREE DealDash bids for bidding.

Yes, that’s right, DealDash gives you free bids every single day for just stopping by and placing a few bids. Does that sound too good to be true? Yes, I admit that it does sound too good to be true – but it IS TRUE. DealDash will give you free bids for coming by on consecutive days and bidding. You start off with a few free bids, and you can work your way up to 30 free bids for just coming by and bidding on consecutive days. It’s so easy, and I have won many auctions for 30 bids or less in my years on DealDash.

Use Your Best Judgement

Sometimes you’re in an auction and you know that you aren’t going to win. What should you do? Here are a few options to choose from:

Keep bidding until you win, no matter what. AKA Power Bidding.
Stop bidding, close your computer, and feel sad about your lost bids.
Stop bidding, and do a BIN (Buy It Now) on the auction.

Personally, I would do Option # 3 – Stop bidding, and do a BIN (Buy It Now) on the auction. Are you familiar with the concept of BINning an auction? Simply put, it means that you purchase the item that you were bidding on for the regular retail price, and DealDash will give you back all of the bids that you spent. Sounds like a great deal, right? That’s right! It’s a great DealDash Deal. Take advantage of it, it’s available on every auction to every person who placed bids.
