DealDash Tips for Polite Bidding

screenshot-25

No one likes a rude bidder. There are rude bidders out there, but you don’t want to be one! Read these DealDash tips for polite bidding.

Have you ever been bidding in a DealDash auction, and everything is going great – people are using their BidBuddies, everyone is taking turns, and no one is doing anything out of the ordinary…Then all of a sudden in comes a wild bidder! They are throwing bids around like confetti, stomping here and there, and generally making a nuisance of themselves? If you don’t recognize this scenario, it’s possible that you are the wild bidder that everyone gives a heavy sigh when they see you enter the auction. Let’s read some tips from DealDash on how to be a more polite and well-liked bidder.

Why should you be concerned about being a polite and more well-liked bidder? Well, other than the fact that it’s just the nice thing to do, polite and well-liked bidders on DealDash tend to win more auctions. If I have been in a long auction battle with another bidder who has been politely using their BidBuddy the entire time, and it’s an auction that I plan on BINning (Buy It Now) anyway, I might stop bidding once it’s down to the two of us. I wouldn’t do this if we are only halfway to winning, but if we are $5 or less away from my personal BIN limit, I might do the nice thing and stop so they get a little discount if they have been a polite bidder the whole time. I don’t always do this, of course, but if you have been a rude bidder I will do the exact opposite, and bid way past my personal BIN limit, just to spite you. See, it makes sense to be polite.

What constitutes a rude bidder? Opinions on this vary slightly, but it’s pretty much agreed that “Stompers” and “Jumpers” are considered very rude in DealDash Land. What are Stompers and Jumpers? The Stomper picks an auction, and rather than bidding politely and waiting for the timer to go down to 2 or 3 seconds they bid immediately after a person, therefore cheating the person out of their “clock time.”  The Jumper is someone who waits until the auction has alllllmost reached the $5 No Jumper limit and places their first bid, usually between $4.75-$5.

I hope that you have found this DealDash Tips article on how to be a polite bidder helpful. Of course, these are just my suggestions, please feel free to bid however you like on DealDash – they are your bids to use as you like. All bidders, rude and polite, love to bid on DealDash. screenshot-24

Everyone wants to avoid costly mistakes, here are some tips from DealDash to help save your wallet from disaster.

Most people come to DealDash with the high hopes of winning iPads for $4, or 50″ Ultra HD TVs for pennies on the dollar – and yes, this can happen, but it’s more likely that they will get frustrated and give up, with a bad opinion of DealDash. When you are trying to save a little money, you need to bid smarter, trickier, and more informed than the other bidders.  Here are some tips from DealDash so that you can attempt to avoid costly mistakes.

Firstly, you can avoid costly mistakes by doing your research. I know, I know, when you first discover DealDash it’s very exciting and you want to jump right in and start bidding. Well, STOP! Stop and think about each bid before you place them, think about if you’re willing to BIN (Buy It Now) if the auction doesn’t go in your favor. Then, after you have thought about these things, feel free to bid as you please. Remember: Stop, Think, Bid.

Next, another costly mistake is getting into auctions that you don’t have time to finish. If you are just getting ready to leave, you’re pressed for time, and you haven’t fully done your research (see above), then it isn’t the best time to bid. Now, if you are leaving, but you are going to have some free time to do these things where ever you are going, I have a solution for you. The DealDash app! You can take the DealDash app with you on your phone or tablet, and you can do your research and your bidding on-the-go!  If you haven’t downloaded the DealDash app yet you can definitely avoid bidding mistakes by using it when you’re out and about. DealDash Tips to Stay Alert

screenshot-18

As a DealDash bidder, I’m sure you know the feeling of losing an auction due to not being alert. Here are some tips to help.

I fondly look back on how uninformed I was when I first started bidding on DealDash. I was impulsive, quick to join in an auction, and I didn’t realize at first how long auctions can actually go on before there is a winner. I remember losing quite a few auctions in the early days because I just got too distracted or sleepy and stopped paying close enough attention to the auction, and someone else was the winner. I am here to give you some tips on how to keep focused and alert during the auction.

Before we get into how to stay alert, the first tip that I would like to share is that you should really do your research on how long auctions of this type normally go on – for example, an auction for a $20 Blu-Ray movie will be considerably shorter than an auction for a $1,000 TV. If you are short on time and it’s an item that you are willing to BIN (Buy It Now) then I would suggest that you just load up your BidBuddy with the appropriate number of bids, and come back later to see if you’ve won. If it’s a bigger ticket item I would suggest just tossing in a few bids and returning later to check on the auction, and get more serious about the auction after it’s been running for a while.

If you’re determined to stay and watch the auctions, you are going to need to stay alert so you don’t get distracted and lose the auction. A way that I have found very helpful in staying alert is to keep each auction page open in its own tab on my computer, and that way you can easily click back and forth between them.

Another suggestion would be not to bid on too many auctions at once. When your attention is divided among more than a couple of auctions it can be very difficult to pay attention to each of them. If you want to participate in more than 2 or 3 auctions at a time, I would definitely suggest making use of the BidBuddy. If you load up 20 or so bids at a time on each of the auctions that you are interested in, it gives you enough time to be able to pay attention to other auctions while ensuring that no one else scoops up the win from you.

Free Bids for Time As High Bidder at DealDash

Everyone loves free bids and DealDash knows this, so they are happy to reward us with bids for every second we are bidding at their site.  As DealDash players we are the luckiest of the penny auction players because the amount of bids you get from DealDash is generous and grows every time your reach your next level.

This is what the Time As Highest Bidder Bar looks like and it’s located on the bottom of your DealDash main page.  This is where you can keep track of all the bids DealDash is going to give you, how much time you have left before you receive it and how many seconds you’ve already bid toward the next level.

Right next to this bar is a meter with the amount of free bids you will receive for your next level,  when you reach it the meter will light up and all you need to do is click the button and Poof! The bids are in your account.  So now if you have done your shopping, you can go place those bids on one item which you can win for the closing price.   Sometimes DealDash offers 50% Off Wins and Free Wins, this is a double win because you not only got all those free bids, you get your item greatly discounted.

So what happens when you bid?  That is the magic, each time you bid a meter ticks up your moments. This clock is best utilized when using Bid Buddy, the automatic bidding system provided by DealDash.  When you use the Bid Buddy every second adds up quickly at first, and the longer you play the more bids you get, but also the meter goes a little slower.  In the beginning you will earn dozens and hundreds of bids, eventually you will earn thousands!! That is a lot of free bids.

Often DealDash will offer a Bid Multiplier, the multiplier adds bids much faster, often 2 times faster, 3 times faster or five times faster!  During these sales there are a lot of players and DealDash will offer extra prizes each minute and sometimes they will also offer 50 at once.  There are plenty of auctions for every one and there is always another one right around the corner.

So, all you need to do to get these Free Bids for your Time As High Bidder (TAHB) is bid.  Just come to DealDash, buy your bid pack and start earning free bids!

Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!!
