Earning Free Bids

Shoppers have so many different ways to earn free bids on DealDash.com.

Let us count the ways:

  1. If we log on to DealDash every day and place at least one bid, we can get as many as 15 free bids. As long as we do not miss logging on every day and placing a bid, we will continue getting 15 free bids every day. If we miss a day, then we have to start all over again, earning about 2 free bids at first, and then working our way back up to 15 free bids a day again.
  2. Every time we place bids in any auction, we earn time on the clock. As we earn time on the clock, DealDash shoppers will see a green line on the bottom right-hand side of the screen move forward, also known as Time as Highest Bidder. Once the green line gets to the end, shoppers will earn a package of free bids. Every time we reach the end, shoppers will move up a level. The higher the level, the more free bids we get. I’ve been shopping on DealDash since Feb. 8, 2012, and I am now on Level 66!
  3. Participate in challenges. Just recently, to earn 40 free bids, we had to bid on and win one of the Special Bid Pack auctions that DealDash was featuring to help celebrate 10 years of DealDash.

If you save your free bids, you will soon have enough bids to bid on an auction you really want to win. Try it, you’ll like it.

Bidding Sprees

Have you ever participated in a bidding spree or billing blast on DealDash.com?

How it works

Every once in a while DealDash puts everything up for auction all at the same time. DealDash announces ahead of time exactly when they will offer a bidding spree or bidding blast. On the days it happens, it is usually scheduled to begin at 3 or 5 p.m.

With everything going up for auction at the same time, customers hardly know which auctions to bid on first. I figured that most customers might go for the first auctions located upfront. Therefore, my strategy was to go to one of the last auctions, where I might not have as much competition.

Customer’s Delight

I’m told that some customers tend to win more than one auction during the bidding sprees on DealDash. Perhaps that’s because the power bidders cannot be everywhere at the same time. During regular auctions, I often find the same power bidders participating in every auction. That’s far less likely to happen during bidding sprees.

Watch

I’m sure DealDash will offer more bidding sprees in the future. It’s pretty exciting, so if you have never shopped during a bidding spree, you might want to try it.

Avoid Black Friday Crowds

We might be able to get some great deals on Black Friday and Cyber Monday at the shopping malls, but who enjoys the hassle of finding parking places and fighting crowds?

Why not avoid all that by shopping on DealDash.com instead? We can find many great gift ideas and could get some great bargains by staying home and shopping online.

Cordless Vacuum

Many people would love to own a light-weight, cordless vacuum, so it would make an excellent gift. This is a popular item that goes up for auction on DealDash on a regular basis.

This cordless vacuum has a BIN price of $550 but you might not have to pay that much to get it. In fact, just recently when this item went up for auction on DealDash, the winner only paid $4.53, and that’s including the cost of bids — a bargain that would be difficult to beat at any shopping mall on Black Friday.

Neck Tie for Men

Neck ties on the DealDash shopping site are high-end, fancy ties that any man who likes to dress up would love. This is another item that goes up for auction on DealDash on a regular basis. The ties are offered in many different colors and designs and come in a fancy display box, too.

These silk neck ties have BIN prices of $280 but you might not have to pay that much to get it on DealDash. Just recently one auction was won for just $2.63 (cost of bids included, bids cost up to $0.20 each) so this would be a huge Black Friday saving! Another shopper won this tie using only one bid. The most experienced and wisest bidders will develop a good bidding strategy by waiting until it gets close to the average sale price or the bidding gets d!n to only two bidders.

Christmas Gifts

We can find many auction items that would make excellent Christmas gifts on DealDash.com. If we start shopping now, we might even get these items at a bargain price. Below is a list of some products most people would be happy to receive.

High-quality Watches

Anyone can purchase a cheap watch, but if we want to get a high-quality watch at a price we can afford, DealDash is the best place to shop for one. DealDash offers both men’s and women’s elegantly-styled watches at Buy It Now prices of $1,500 or so, but many DealDash shoppers win auctions for far less than that.

In just the last month, one style of the two $1,500 men’s watches sold 17 times for only $100 or less (counting the cost of bids). Also, in the last month, the $1,500 women’s watch sold 16 times for less than $100 (counting the cost of bids). Therefore, the opportunity to get a high-end watch for less than $100 is extremely high.

Leather Brief Cases

How about shopping for 100 percent top-grain leather brief cases? DealDash auctions one style brief case that has a BIN price of $2,250 but winning shoppers have been receiving fantastic bargain prices. In the last two weeks, five shoppers got this brief case for only $12.81 or less, including the cost of bids used to win the auction.

Another Pebble leather brief case that comes with a cross body strap retails for $1,225. It has two interior compartments and two zip compartments. Because of high demand for this particular brief case, it has been selling for more than the other one, but one shopper recently got it for only $111.80 counting the cost of bids used to win it. That’s still a great bargain.

Duffel Gym Bag

DealDash has something for more practical shoppers, too.  How about a well-constructed, water-resistant duffel bag that would be perfect to take to the gym? This bag has a BIN price of $120 but two winners got this bag in just the last week for the bargain prices of only $12.06 and $10.81 (counting the cost of bids used).
