The Nintendo 3DS XL includes two screenins!

The bottom touch screen makes use of a stylus that is stored in the unit itself. The top screen displays 3D visuals to the naked eye. Looking at the screen is like peering through a window into a world where characters and objects have true depth. The system also has a 3D Depth Slider that lets players select the level of 3D they enjoy the most. Of course since DealDash is an entertainment auction – like a penny auction site – the final bid price is increased by 1 penny with each bid placed. So, 70.06 works out to be 7,006 bids – but when they run bid sales you can get bids for as low as $0.14-0.17 a bid. With each bid placed you are paying the cost of the bid and if you win you pay for your bids and the final auction end price. Which in the case of the auction for $70.06 the winner may have placed 1 bid at $0.14 + $70.06 or significantly more. Wouldn’t it be great if you could win a brand new XBOX for less?!

Double Dash! How to Get Even More (2X)! Free Bids This Week

DealDash always offers free bids to bidders when their “time as highest bidder” meter increases. This week DealDash is running a Double Dash promotion! This means the time as highest bidder bids will be doubled!

DealDash’s Time As Highest Bidder Explained!

When you are the highest bidder, in any auction, you will earn time towards your next level. When you reach a new level you will start to receive free bids. What’s even better is the more levels you reach, the more bids you get!

Look on the bottom of any page on DealDash.com – you’ll see a status meter on the very bottom, it’s to the right of your name and bid count and shows your current level and your time as the highest bidder.

You are the highest bidder every time you are the highest/unopposed bidder in an auction – the time you were the highest bidder gets calculated and is displayed next to the meter. The time in the countdown clock is the amount of time you need to reach the next level. When the Claim Bids button is activated you can click claim bids and reach the next level.

The levels go from 0-well, right now Level 70 is probably the highest level anyone has made it so far.. but say you were on level 28, you’d get 300 free bids, level 29 would get you
500 free bids!

The first level requires just 60 seconds of being the highest bidder to claim 1 free bid.

When’s the best time to get more free bids by being the highest bidder?

I would suggest you try bidding during the early morning, or late at night. There might be less competition (or maybe other bidders are just tired) causing them to click the bid button more often.

Or, you could just click bid now and bid over anyone who outbids you. Some may think you’re crazy, but for some this is a strategy to win too. By clicking bid again and again each time someone else bids you really cancel out anyone elses’ bid, they may grow frustrated and quit, or confuse other bidders who decide not to bid against you.

So the Chromecast came to my office today (Amazon is always best on shipping). Within 5 minutes it was setup (go to webpage or app). Within 10 minutes of getting it we had 5 different devices connected and casting to it (iphone, s2, HTC Dna, Chromebook Pixel, and Mac Mini). Everyone on the same network as the Chromecast can see it and control it (not just the person who started it). We took turns adding our next youtube clip, Google Play song, or Netflix show. Seemless integration between switching content from all different devices.
This is a game changer and apps are stupid to not jump on this bandwagon. Thank you google for once again innovating at a LOW price point!”

All Things French – Celebrate Bastille Day in Style

Bastille Day is Monday! Also known as the French National Day commemorates Fête de la Fédération on 14 July 1790, the day France became a nation. Think of Bastille Day as France’s version of our Independence Day. Celebrations often include fireworks, picnics, concerts and enjoyment of French food. Celebrations are going on today throughout the United States.

Ingredients
6 baking potatoes, like russets
1 quart vegetable or peanut oil
Salt
Curry Ketchup, recipe follows
Honey Mustard Mayo, recipe follows
Curry Ketchup:
1 teaspoon curry powder
5 ounces ketchup
5 ounces mayonnaise
1/4 finely chopped onion
Honey Mustard Mayo:
5 ounces mayonnaise
4 ounces mustard
1 teaspoon honey

Directions
Peel the potatoes, and cut them into batons that are about the length and width of your index finger.

Preheat a deep pot of oil to 325 degrees F.

For the first fry, deep fry potatoes in the oil for 5 to 6 minutes, or until a light golden color. Do not over load fryer. Fry in 3 batches if necessary. Remove the potatoes using a slotted spoon, and allow them to cool to room temperature.

Raise the temperature of the oil to 375 degrees F.

For the second fry, deep-fry the potatoes for 2 minutes, or until crispy. Remove potatoes, and transfer into a colander or bowl. While still hot, salt the potatoes.

Serve with favorite dipping sauce.

Crepe Recipe

To make crepes all you need is a really hot, nonstick frying pan – for the ingredients you just need 1 cups of flour, 1/2 cup of water, 1/3 cup milk, 2 eggs, 1/4 tsp sale, 2 T melted butter and then mix.

Once the pan is hot pour a small amount of the batter into an oiled frying pan – and distribute it evenly and lightly across the entire pan.

Wait until it thickens and cooks to a pancake consistency.

Then flip. Enjoy with whipped cream, fresh pineapple, and a homemade passionfruit syrup.

All you need is passionfruit puree, water and sugar. To make a simple syrup boil the sugar, water and passionfruit juice in a pan and wait until the mixtures boils and thickens. Slice fresh pineapple and place it inside the crepe, fold and top with cream and syrup. Bon Appétit!
