Orion Nebula, Alpha Centauri, Horsehead Nebula, Hourglass Nebula, Jet in Carina, Saturn’s Rings, Mystic Mountain, Deep Space, Ethereal, Surreal, Incredible… Hubble has spotted all of that and so much more!
The universe is so vast and still undiscovered.
Astronomy is a really fun hobby to take part in because it’s active learning. You may not be able to see all of the incredible wonders of space through a simple telescope that you can purchase in the store… In fact, since NASA’s Hubble Telescope orbits the earth at 5 miles per second its high enough above our atmosphere that light from space can be seen better than telescopes on earth. For instance, just yesterday Hubble detected off-kilter halos around nearby galaxies.
Check out the incredible gallery of images from the Hubble Telescope in the Hubble Gallery.
If the footage from Hubble piques your interest enough that you want to study astronomy there are some fun, easy and affordable ways to do it!

DealDash Tips to Save Money on Dental Care
Photo Credits // flickr Mandy Jouan
With health insurance costs on the rise, dental costs are exceptionally high that’s why preventative dental care is of an utmost importance. DealDash makes it easy to take care of your teeth with deals on high-tech daily dental gear.
According to dentist Philly Burbs, brushing and flossing frequently will help you save money. He writes,
“Brush and floss frequently. This is something we dentists call home care. The work you do at home can greatly reduce the amount of treatment (and expense) you will require from your dentist. I suggest you brush at least three times a day, after eating and before bed. Brush for about 2-3 minutes, using the techniques your dental hygienist has recommended (if you are not sure about the best way to brush, just ask at your next visit). I also suggest you floss once a day, before you brush. For those who are especially cavity prone, use a fluoride containing mouthwash in addition to the fluoridated toothpaste that everyone should use.”
Have you always wanted an electric toothbrush and Waterpik flossing system, but they’ve always been way too much money for you to afford? Thankfully, DealDash can help with the cost of both of these necessities, that with regular use may help you save money on dental care in the long run!
One of the absolute best electric powered toothbrush on the market right now is the Sonicare DiamondClean Toothbrush. This toothbrush offers diamond-shaped bristles that work in sweeping motions to apply up to 31,000 brush strokes per minute to provide effective and gentle cleaning of the teeth and along the gumline. 31k brush strokes, whoa your arm would grow tired fast and you really don’t have time for that! According to SonicCare this brush removes up to 7 times more plaque than regular brushing and up to 100% more stains in just one week = whiter teeth.
The cost is a little high though, but the cost of your overall well-being and health of your teeth really is priceless. Good news if you cannot afford the $210 retail price tag – DealDash offers the DiamondClean in penny auctions auctions and the last few have sold for $31.52, $13.61, $56.18, $10.35 and as low as $4.70, respectively, and always free shipping.
Next, flossing – a dreading thing that we all must do if we want to diminish plaque and keep our mouths and teeth healthy. If you’re tired of all the string that’s involved in flossing, and if you get scared when the floss gets snagged in your teeth, check out this Waterpik Ultra Water Flosser.
“Water jet is clinically proven to be up to 93-percent more effective than flossing Advanced control delivers a water pressure of 10 to 90 PSI with 1200 pulses per minute Removes debris and bacteria lodged deep between teeth and below the gum-line Significant oral health benefit for people who wear braces, have diabetes, and gum disease Includes 6 color-coded tips.”
The retail cost of a Waterpik Ultra Water Flosser is $67 but the last auction on DealDash ended for only $1.53! See more Waterpik flosser deals.

How to Sign Up for DealDash: Tips for Beginner Bidders!
You just found DealDash.com, you’re wondering what it’s all about and what you should know before you start bidding!
DealDash newbies, this is for you so listen up!
1. Register – when you first sign up for DealDash.com you will see a registration page on dealdash.com/join.
First, find out more about the site before you get started.
- Shipping is always free
“All items on DealDash come with free shipping, and are typically shipped out within 24 hours.”
- Get Bids back if you don’t win
“If you don’t win the auction you can always buy the item at a normal, fair retail price and get your bids back.”
- 90-Day money back guarantee
“If you try DealDash and find it’s not for you, we’ll refund your first purchase within 90 days. No questions asked. Simply email [email protected].”
After you register you will be taken to a bid pack purchase page. You do not have to purchase bids just yet, if you don’t want to or aren’t ready. But you can’t bid without purchasing a bid pack first! There is one bid pack for beginners, and it’s a 200 bids bid pack for $32- this would make bids $0.16 each. You can easily reload your bid balance by purchasing additional bid packs after the initial bid pack purchase. So jump in and give it a try. DealDash accepts major credit cards and PayPal for payment.
2. Familiarize yourself with the site and learn how penny auctions work.
On the homepage you will see all of the active and upcoming auctions on DealDash right now, plus 2 ended auctions and the end price. You can see more ended auctions by clicking on the “Winners” tab on the top of the page.
DealDash’s features are very different from other penny auctions.
– “No Jumpers” Notice that it says “no jumpers” on top of every auction item box. This means that no new bidders can enter the auction after the bid price has reached $5.00.
-“Buy it Now” All auctions on DealDash have “buy it now” this means that if you would like to buy an item at any time you can buy it for the stated price, which is really the retail price on many sites including Walmart and Amazon.com. You can buy an auction with buy it now even if you did not bid on the auction. The advantage to this feature is that if you have spent bids on trying to win an item and did not win you can buy it now and get all of those bids back into your bidding account and also get the item for the stated price + free shipping. Win/Win you will just have to get better or luckier and win something next time you try!
When you click on an item to see the auction if you do not have any bids in your account and are a beginner you will not be able to see the entire auction page or bid, but you will see a summary of the item and the average winning bid price for it. For instance,
-Open auctions vs. No New Bidders
Bid Now and No New Bidders –
The auctions that have a yellow bid button and say “Bid Now” are available for bidding. However, if the auction has a yellow ribbon across it stating “No New Bidders” this means the item’s “end price” has already met the $5.00 price point threshold and if you have not bid in the auction prior to this cut off point you are not eligible to bid in it.
Do I have to pay for bids when I first sign up? No, you are not obligated to pay for a bid pack when you sign up but take note that if you do put in your credit card info you will be charged the stated amount for beginner (200 bids) bid pack.
DealDash is a spin on the traditional pay to bid penny auction. It really is a penny auction, just offers features that make it better.
Timers on a penny auction site are not always definite like an eBay auction. A timer can show 2 seconds and end in 2 seconds, or time can be added and the auction prolonged once another bidder places a bid. The final end price, or the current end price, until an item ends, is increased by one penny with each bid placed. So if an item is $5.86 586 bids have been placed on the item so far by all participating bidders!
Be sure to familiarize yourself with the site and process by reading more of our tips here and by checking out the site for yourself at DealDash.com.
Good luck & happy bidding!
