Ok, so I will admit… up until yesterday I wasn’t too ‘gung-ho’ on the whole fitbit/fitness tracking thing that seems to be all the rage right now, especially among those who are striving to get healthier and maybe even lose weight.
The fitbit Flex Tracker is a wristband, it retails for $99.99 and can be won for even less if you can win it on DealDash.com.
The rubber wristband comes in a variety of colors, blue, teal, pink, orange, black, slate, red! Plus, if you get bored of a color you can buy more bands and change out the tracker.
I gave in and bought one a few days ago. I started using it yesterday and my goal is to meet 10,000 steps each day. This morning I headed to a local nature center at 7 am, by 9 I hit my goal of 10k steps and 4 miles just from doing an activity I love, hiking. If you think eh, I don’t need a tracker or to see how many steps I take, maybe you don’t, I didn’t think I did either. So far it’s helping take time to make fitness a daily priority. It’s exciting that when you make your set goal the wristband’s lights on the indicator all light up and the band vibrates to tell you you made it! So my goal is to lose some weight and get in better athletic shape. Thanks to this device telling me what I already knew (that I need to take a break and get away from my desk) I’ve been making more of a conscious effort to do it.
What else is cool about the FitBit app for Android or iPhone, is that it will track your sleep, tell you how many approximate calories you have burned and lets you input food and water intake. Plus, if you increase your water you most definitely need to walk away from your desk more often!
Here’s the activity I was able to get in today just by 9 a.m.! Thank you fitbit!

On 8/25, DealDash bidder Mozart09 (almost on their win limit for the week with 5/6 wins) won a great deal on this All Stainlifters Free and Clear Laundry Detergent 150 oz with a winning bid price of just $0.55 + bids placed. This detergent is shipped free of charge to winners and anyone who uses buy it now $18. How about a way to not have to go to the store when you need to restock on much needed items like detergent! What a deal!

Now for an even better deal! Watch out because now jordwayl will have a brand new Acer Aspire 11.6 inch tablet to use to bid against you next time. The $772 tablet was won on 8/24 for $23.38 – but the final end price was free, so she only paid for the bids she placed to win the tablet. 
The $23.28 end price means that 2,328 bids were placed by all participating bidders in the auction. Plus, jordwayl had to have placed bids before the $5.00 price to stay in the auction. The last auction for this same Acer tablet went for significantly more money and bids, $163.31, meaning 16,331 bids were placed by all bidders in this auction!

Bidder marjoydo scored an amazing deal on this 13-cup KitchenAid Food Processor! $4.27 was the ending bid price, plus due to the bid promotion the end price was waived so she just paid for the bids placed to win it on 8/23. Valued at $2.54 this food processor from KitchenAid allows you to slice a wide variety of vegetables. Equipped with ExactSlice slicing system this food processor is touted to be safe and easy to use.
While necessary, laundry detergent, food processors, and popcorn makers (ok maybe with the exception of the popcorn maker) aren’t all that fun, on 8/22 connertim won one of the best items for video game lovers! The 500 GB Sony PlayStation 4 ended for $95.99, so as you can imagine the auction went for quite awhile before connertim finally became the winner! That’s 9,599 bids placed by all participants in the auction!
