We love to share our knowledge with all of the new (and not so new) DealDash bidders. Read on for a recap of the best tips from last week, from the DealDash Tips Blog.

Using the BidBuddy from the January 6th Blog

The theme of January 6th’s blog was regarding tips that every single person on DealDash should know. The top tip of that blog was how to use the BidBuddy. The advice from that blog included step-by-step instructions on how to fill up the BidBuddy:

The BidBuddy area has a white space, and that’s where you will input the number of bids you want to use on this auction. After putting in the number, click “Book a BidBuddy” and your BidBuddy will now be set and ready to go.

If you’d like to read that blog in its entirety, just click this link right here and you can check it out.

Avoid Recent Competitors from January 8th’s Blog

January 8th’s blog was tips that shouldn’t be ignored when using DealDash. The top tip from that blog was to try and avoid bidders that you have recently had a battle with and lost. You don’t have to avoid these bidders forever, of course, but try to avoid having another battle with them when their recent win against you is fresh in their mind. From that article:

They will think that you aren’t as tough to beat. This is not necessarily true, of course, but they will think it, even if it’s unconscious thinking. Of course, when I say “a battle” with them I don’t mean that they are one of 5 or 6 or 7 people that you were just bidding against in an auction, I am speaking of a 1-on-1 situation.

Get Winter Essentials on DealDash from the January 9th Blog

The blog on January 9th was about surviving the winter chill with some help from DealDash. There were a few good tips in there, but the takeaway of the blog was to bid on cozy items on DealDash. Theresa wrote:

“If you’re in the market for a great new cushy comforter or decadent robe, guess where you can get them? That’s right—on DealDash! Both items are currently available”

Don’t Just Look at the Main Page from the January 10th Blog

There were some excellent quick tips in the January 10th blog. There were lots of tiny tips in that blog, but the real standout was on looking beyond the main page to find lots more auctions.

“There are SO many more auctions than the ones just on the main DealDash homepage. Click to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. page and see what’s coming up in a few minutes or later on in the day.”

Read DealDash Blogs For Winning Tips

By Barbara

It’s a good idea for customers on DealDash.com to take time to read blogs. DealDash blogs, written by experienced players and DealDash team members, contain many tips to help customers win more for less.

A good place to start is to read everything under the “Help” header on the DealDash home page. That is where you will learn how it works, how to bid in an auction, tips and tricks, what a bid pack is, what “time as highest bidder” is and all about.

It is also a good idea to read the “Latest Blogs.” where you will learn all about the latest changes and new bidding strategies. Blogs are available on how to save bids, how to earn free bids, how to avoid common mistakes, how to find auctions that close early, bid strategies, setting limits, what time or days are best, what beginners should know and more.

It is never a good idea to play any game without first reading the instructions on how it works. The more we know the better choices we will make. DealDash is no different. The more we learn about how to play smart, the more auctions we will win.

When I first started shopping on DealDash, I wasted a lot of bids because I did not know how to use BidBuddy, the automated bidder. As soon as I started reading and asking questions I started winning. DealDash has more information and instructions available than any other shopping site I found.

The more we learn about how to play smart, the more likely we will have a happy and rewarding shopping experience. Therefore, read blogs, learn winning tips and you will have a happy shopping experience on DealDash.com, too.

DealDash Tidbit Auction Tips

DealDash Tips

Some DealDash tips don’t need very much elaboration. These little tidbit tips are great for reading when you don’t have a lot of time. Read on and get some great tips.

We here at DealDash Tips Blog love to write articles for you that are not only informative but also entertaining. However, we also realize that sometimes you don’t have a lot of time to waste and want to get right down to the business of winning auctions. Without further ado, here are some little tidbit tips for you to read when you’re having a time crunch.

Tips for Buying Bids

  • Buy the largest bid pack that fits within your budget. No matter where you shop, buying in volume always makes sense.
  • Wait for a sale to buy bids. If the bid price is .17 today, I can almost guarantee it will be lower in the next couple of days.
  • Don’t wait until you are almost out of bids to buy a bid pack. See the tip above? If you wait until the last second to buy bids you might end up paying a premium for them.

Tips for Choosing an Auction

  • There are SO many more auctions than the ones just on the main DealDash homepage. Click to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. page and see what’s coming up in a few minutes or later on in the day.
  • Don’t bid from the main homepage. Open up the auction that you want to bid on. You will get valuable information such as who won the item last, and for what price.
  • Use the categories to browse. If you don’t see anything that you’re interested in bidding on then use the category drop-down menu to get some ideas.
  • If you don’t see what you want, do a search. DealDash can only show so many future auctions on the main pages. Use the search bar to input exactly what you’re interested in and see if you can find what you’re looking for.

Tips for Bidding

  • If there are 10+ people in an auction that you’re interested in and it’s nowhere near the $5 No Jumper cutoff, just sit and wait. The likelihood of all 10 bidders going out at the same time is extremely unlikely (but not impossible!) so wait until there are fewer bidders.
  • Use Your BidBuddy. That’s all there is to it.
  • Bid up to the BIN (Buy It Now) price, and you can get all of your bids back by purchasing the item.

Beat the Cold Weather Blues with DealDash

Baby it’s cold outside! When I woke up this morning it was -20 with the wind chill factor. That’s right—negative 20 degrees in the Eastern United States. Other states are feeling the wrath of winter cold snap as well and those not sufficiently bundled risk frostbite and hypothermia. My advice—dress warmly, put on the hot cocoa and get winning on DealDash!

Whether you’re snuggled up in a DealDash comforter in bed navigating with your laptop or tablet or sitting at your desktop computer wrapped in a plush robe, winning always feels good!

And hey—if you’re in the market for a great new cushy comforter or decadent robe, guess where you can get them? That’s right—on DealDash! Both items are currently available on my favorite penny auction bidding site!

Along with a comforter and robe, just search out something that makes you happy and distracts you from the frigid temperatures of winter. Do something nice for yourself and find a happy gift just for you. My suggestions: something that brings a smile to your face. You deserve it!

Maybe you just want to forget about winter altogether. DealDash can help with that, too. Plan ahead to spring and summer and start shopping for gardening, hiking and camping gear that you can have at the ready as soon as the weather breaks.

Stay warm, bid happy and get the win on DealDash!
