Are you a Bid Wizard on DealDash.com?

Bid Wizards instinctively know where to be and when to be there. Bid Wizards are shoppers who consistently win auctions on DealDash using a minimal number of bids. Bid Wizards win great bargains because they have developed bidding strategies that work.

Let’s face it. Everyone can win auctions if they have plenty of bids to place into BidBuddy. It does not take skill to win auctions if we are rich enough to buy hundreds or thousands of bids.

Bid Wizard Rules

Of course the fewer bids we use to win auctions on DealDash, the fewer bids we have to buy. Therefore, Bid Wizards conserve bids by doing the following:

  • Check the Winners’ List to see which auctions are selling for the least amount and for the fewest number of bids and then focus on winning those auctions.
  • Always place a small number of bids at the beginning of the auctions we most want to win. We never know when an auction might close early and that’s when we want to be there.
  • Place more than one bid in auctions that have the fewest number of competitors.
  • Avoid bidding in the same auctions with power bidders who consistently bid over the value of the auction products.
  • Look at the closing cost of the last seven winners and figure out the cost the auction usually closed at. Save bids until the auction gets to that “average” winning amount.
  • Save the bulk of our bids until the auction gets down to the last two or three serious bidders.

By following these rules, we could become Bid Wizards, too!

I can shop on DealDash any time of day or night, so I never have to worry about what time a store opens or closes. As a retiree, I no longer live by the clock or tight deadlines. I now make my own schedule. That is one of the great advantages of being retired.

By shopping on DealDash, I save both time and money. I save time by not having to go to the store and I save money for gas by shopping from home. Instead, I can get more work done around the house, like laundry and vacuuming, and just wait for my packages to get delivered to my front door.

By shopping on DealDash, I save money on postage and handling because all of my orders are shipped postage free. Not only that, I can also count on everything arriving in excellent condition because my orders always arrive with more than enough protective wrapping.

Winning Equals Good Planning

Winning on DealDash.com often equals good planning. It might mean saving up bids for a long time to win a high-dollar product with tough competition.

Even if we use the automated bidder, BidBuddy, we should still plan to only shop when we can closely monitor the auctions. I’ve lost many auctions on DealDash because I had too many distractions or got too busy with other household chores and did not take the time to keep my eye on the auctions I wanted to win.

To win auctions, we need to consider:

  • Do I have enough time to closely monitor this auction?
  • Is this auction product something I need and will actually use? Remember, it is against DealDash policy to resell the products we win. We can give the products we won to friends and family members or keep them ourselves, but we are not to turn around and list them for sale.
  • Do I have enough bids to win this auction? Based on the number of bids it took most previous winners to win this auction, do I need to purchase or win more bids first.
  • Are any power bidders competing in this auction? Did any of the screen names in this auction recently win a large bid pack?
  • Are too many other players competing in this auction? Would I have a better chance of winning if I waited for the next one that comes up for auction when fewer players might be competing for it?

Bottom Line

If we keep a checklist of things to look for when shopping on DealDash, we will most likely win more often.
