Convenience Matters at DealDash

By Barbara

Convenience matters. That is why I enjoy shopping online @DealDash. It is simply a convenient way to shop.

Other advantages to shopping online include:

  • Convenience–I never have to worry about store hours. I can shop at any time, night or day, and have my orders show up on my door step a short time later.
  • Comfort–I don’t have to get dressed up. If I want to, I can sit at my computer at home in the comfort of my night gown.
  • Saves Money for Gas–I don’t have to spend nearly as much money for gas when I do most of my shopping online at home.
  • Saves Time and hassles–I don’t have to spend time looking for a parking spot, dealing with crowds or waiting in long lines at the cash register.
  • Fast and Easy–I find it much faster and easier to quickly locate the product, color and size I want online.
  • Better Deals–Of course, if we win on DealDash, we get better deals as well.

These are just some of the many reasons I love shopping on DealDash and plan to remain a loyal customer for many years to come.

Don’t Lose That Auction! DealDash Tips

DealDash

Winning a DealDash auction is the goal! Don’t lose that auction. Here are some tips from DealDash to help you succeed.

Why would you bother coming to DealDash if you didn’t want to win an auction? Of course you want to win! However, the competition can be fierce at times, and it’s important that you do all of the right things so that you will have a better chance at winning. Keep in mind that there are probably anywhere between 2-50 (or more!) bidders in any given auction, and every single one of those bidders wants to win. You need to keep your eye on the prize and stay one step ahead of those other bidders.

Just Walk Away…For a While

If you’ve been bidding in an auction for a while with no end in sight, then maybe it’s time to step away for a bit and regroup. Before you leave, count the number of active bidders. If there are still at least five active bidders, then you should be safe to take a little break. Of course, when you do this you always run the risk of the auction ending suddenly and losing your place in the auction. However, if there are five or more active bidders then the chance of the auction ending suddenly within a half hour or so is unlikely. If you’d like to take a little break without running the risk of losing your spot in the auction, then set up your BidBuddy to bid for you while you’re away.

The BidBuddy Saves the Day Again

Using the BidBuddy so that you can take a bidding break is always a good idea. That way you can get a snack, use the bathroom, and regroup without losing your spot in the auction. The BidBuddy is the ultimate weapon that DealDash gives (free of charge) to all bidders. You can put in as many or as few bids as you like, and you can cancel it or add more bids at any time. You can start the BidBuddy, stop it, and start it again as many times as you like. The BidBuddy is there to serve you.

Don’t Get Distracted With Other Auctions

I know how tempting it is to bid in a few different auctions at once, and you can do that if you’re using the BidBuddy. If you’re bidding manually, though, stick with one auction at a time. The best way to lose an auction is to stop giving it your 100% attention. Remember that for next time you’re bidding and get a wandering eye.

Why I shop on DealDash

By Barbara:

DealDash is one of my favorite places to shop.

Other than winning many great bargains, there are many other reasons why DealDash is one of my favorite places to shop.

Free Shipping & Handling

For me, one of the best features any shopping site can offer is free shipping and handling, so this is my favorite feature on DealDash.com.

Well Packaged

I have never had to return a product I won on DealDash because all of the products I won or ordered always arrived in excellent condition. I think that is an outstanding record, especially since I won more than 700 auctions over the last five year.

Of course, it’s nice that DealDash has a “money back guarantee,” it takes valuable time and effort to return damaged items, even if a company pays for the return. Luckily, I never have to return anything I order from DealDash.

Outstanding Customer Service

DealDash has outstanding customer service, which is one of the first things I look for when shopping online. I check to see how easy it is to contact customer service representatives. If I have a question or problem with an order, I want to be able to easily reach a customer representative so I can quickly come to a satisfactory resolution. Some companies hide their customer service contact numbers. Not DealDash. It is always easy to contact customer service on this site.

Delightful DealDash Tips to Win

DealDash

Winning on DealDash is sure to be a delightful time. Here are some delightful tips to win on DealDash.

If you’ve been playing on DealDash for a while I’m sure that you’ve picked up some of your own tips and tricks to get nice wins on DealDash. There’s no harm in trying some different tips and strategies every time you play though, so try these delightful DealDash tips from me.

Avoid Known Power Bidders

DealDash along with other bidding sites have their share of Power Bidders. These are the bidders that bid until they win, no matter what the cost. Power Bidders are the type of bidder that will bid more than the retail price of the auction just to prove a point to the rest of the bidder in the auction. The point is, of course, “don’t bid against me again and think that you will win.” These are bidders who will bid 2,000 bids on an item that’s only worth 1,00 bids, just to show everyone that they won’t back down from a challenge. The Power Bidders are bidders that you really should avoid if you can. Personally, I keep a list of the Power Bidders and make it a point not to get involved in auctions with them.

This is why setting your BidBuddy to bid just 1 bid in any auction that you’re interested in can be a smart move. That way you won’t get locked out of the auction, but you will be able to see who else will be bidding in the auction with you. If there is a Power Bidder that you know also interested in the item, well, you can just walk away spending only one bid.

Pick a Favorite Category – and Stick With It

I like to bid in all of the categories, but it’s smart to pick a single category that you spend the majority of your bids in. This way you can become familiar with the other bidders that also like that category, and what price that they are willing to spend to get a win. For example, if you like to hang around the Bid Pack category, you will get to know the bidders that are also fond of that category, and what they are willing to spend on each bid pack. I actually have a spreadsheet on my computer with bidder names and what price certain auctions closed at. This way I can really get a good idea if someone truly is “in it to win it”, of if that’s just all talk. Give it a try and make your own spreadsheet, all if will cost you is a little bit of time!
