DealDash Tips: Six Good Rules to Follow

By Barbara

To be a successful shopper on DealDash, it’s a good idea to develop some good rules to follow. Some good rules I follow are:

  1. Always purchase bids when they go on sale. Sometimes the bid packages go on sale for as little as 11 to 12 cents per bid. That’s a good time to buy enough bids to last for the month.
  2. Avoid bidding when you are tired. Otherwise, you run the risk of falling asleep at your computer at the wrong time.
  3. Always use BidBuddy. Most of the winners on DealDash allow the automated bidder to place their bids for them. You can find BidBuddy by double clicking on the auction you want to win. A new window will open up and then you can see all kinds of valuable information.
  4. Focus on one auction at a time. If you bid on several auctions at the same time, you increase your risk of running out of bids before you have a chance to win any of them. If you put all of your bids in one auction but do not win, all you have to do is buy that one auction (BIN) to get all your bids back. If you bid in five auctions and do not win, you would have to purchase all five auctions to get all your bids back.
  5. Always bid when the competition is low. This changes from day to day and month to month, so it’s a good idea to check on a daily basis to see how many active bidders are participating.
  6. Be patient. Of course, we must place at least one bid near the beginning of an auction so we don’t get locked out. After that, wait until only two or three bidders are left in the auction. That’s the best time to place the rest of your bids.

As long as you follow the above rules, you should be able to win more auctions. After getting some experience, however, you might want to take more risks in an effort to win a bigger, more expensive auction. Good luck and happy bidding!

Tips to DealDash Wins A-Plenty

DealDash wins are just around the corner when you pay attention to these DealDash tips that are in this article. Read on for more details.

DealDash wins are what everyone wants, and if you pay attention to the DealDash Tips blog then you’ll be winning more and more auctions every time you come by to bid. What are these tips, and how can you get them? Easy! Just read this article and any other DealDash blog articles that you can get your hands on, and do the suggestions that are inside.

Don’t Get in Over Your Head

If you’re just getting started on DealDash, then make sure that you don’t get in over your head with bidding too much before you truly understand exactly what’s going on. Buying bids and throwing them around is simple, but actually winning auctions and getting great prizes takes a little concentration, finesse, and paying attention to the other bidders. Once you really understand how DealDash works and how to play, then you can really enjoy bidding and winning on DealDash.

Set a Budget for Yourself

Setting a DealDash budget for yourself is a good plan. This way you can use your bids freely without worrying that you’re spending too much money. Just set aside your DealDash money when you get paid or at a certain time, like the beginning of the month, and then you can use that money when it’s time to buy bids on DealDash. I suggest that you set the money aside instead of immediately buying bids with it because bid prices fluctuate so much that it’s smart to wait until you see bid prices drop to .12, .13, or .14. If the price per bid is any higher than that, I don’t bother unless I am in the middle of an auction and really need more bids.

Take Advantage of the Free Bids from DealDash

There are many different ways to get free bids. I have written tons of blogs about them. If you’re interested in reading more just go to this link right here. If you don’t have time right now, just know that you can earn free bids from DealDash by posting pictures, entering the weekly bid contest, filling up your bid meter time clock, and even just bidding daily. DealDash is very generous with free bids, so make sure that you’re taking them where you can get them!

DealDash Tips: Abbreviations Explained

DealDash

DealDash is easy to use but has some abbreviations that can be a little confusing for the first-time user. Here is a list of some of the common DealDash abbreviations and phrases.

When you think of a community you think of people who are similar in one way or the other, right? Maybe they live near each other, have the same hobbies, or a common background. DealDash is its own community with like-minded individuals who love deals and the thrill of an auction. And with any community, DealDash has it’s own little lingo, phrases, and abbreviations that other people might not understand at first. Here are some of the more common ones, from DealDash Tips blog.

No Jumper $3 or $5

DealDash auctions have a $3 or $5 No Jumper limit. This means that you have to get at least one bid in the auction before the auction reaches $3 or $5. The auctions are typically a $5 No Jumper, but there are days here and there that DealDash lowers the limit to $3. These are very popular days to bid. It will be marked very clearly on the main auction home screen when DealDash changes it to a $3 No Jumper instead of $5.

Buy It Now (BIN) the Auction

BIN, or Buy It Now is the most popular abbreviation that we will ever talk about on any of the DealDash blogs. BIN simply means that you have lost the auction that you have been bidding in and are willing to buy it for the retail price and receive all of your bids back from DealDash. You also get the luxury of free shipping as well, with tracking. The tracking doesn’t apply to gift cards, but to all other purchases with BIN, even the smallest or cheapest. After you have decided that you are going to BIN the auction that you have been participating in, then just hit the “Buy It Now” button that you will see either in your dashboard or on the auction’s page if the auction is still live. Once you have paid then the bids will be refunded immediately.

BookMarking an Auction

DealDash has so many auctions it’s hard to remember which auction is coming up. However, DealDash has come up with an easy way to remember what you wanted to bid on. When you are on DealDash and see an item that is coming soon you can bookmark it. Click your mouse on the small outline of a star in the upper corner on the right-hand side of the auction and you have bookmarked yourself an auction. The little star will turn solid, and the auction is now pinned to your DealDash home page.

Tips and Tricks for the DealDash Newbie

DealDash

Being a newbie is easy on DealDash when you follow these simple tips and tricks. Read on for more information.

DealDash is extremely newbie friendly, unlike some of the other auction sites. Being new on DealDash doesn’t mean that you can’t win auctions! Quite to the contrary, you will actually have an easier time winning auctions, especially on your first few tries. Because you see, on your first few tries, DealDash will show you some auctions that are only visible to other newbies, so there is less competition as well as other inexperienced people bidding on them. If you want to get the inside scoop that some of these other newbies don’t know, then be sure to read the DealDash Tips blog every day. We always provide the best information for DealDash bidders both new and old.

Use Your Newbie Auctions

If you really want to get the hang of DealDash, then be sure not to bid on any of the more advanced auctions on your first few wins. As I said above, when you’re a newbie DealDash will show you some bonus auctions just for newbies as well as some auctions that are available for anyone to bid on as well. The newbie auctions are easy to spot because they are typically lower-valued auctions such as $10 gift cards. Be sure to use up your first few auction experiences on some of these newbie-specific auctions, because once you have won a few auctions then DealDash won’t show you the newbie auctions on your screen anymore.

BidBuddy Truly is Your Buddy

You have probably heard me talk about the BidBuddy hundreds of times in the past few years, but it still stands as the best and most useful tool that DealDash has to offer any bidder. And unlike the newbie-specific auctions, the BidBuddy is for every single bidder and can be used in every single auction.

The BidBuddy can mean the difference between winning and losing an auction. The BidBuddy can also mean the difference between winning and getting an amazing deal, and just getting a few dollars off of the regular retail price. When you use the BidBuddy in an auction you should put in the absolute maximum bids that you can put in without going over the retail price. This way you don’t have stay at your computer and babysit your auctions, you can even turn off your computer and walk away. You can come back later to see if you’ve won! I have had many wonderful surprise wins by using the BidBuddy and walking away.
