We enjoy sharing our knowledge with all of the newbie DealDash bidders on DealDash. Read on for a recap of the best tips from last week, from DealDash.

Bid for Your Lifestyle from the December 18th Blog

The theme of December 18th’s blog was quick tips to use on DealDash. The top tip of that blog was to bid for your own personal lifestyle. There’s no need to waste bids by bidding on something that you will never need or use in your life. I like nice things as well, but if I am never going to use them, what’s the point of having them? The advice from that blog noted:

“If your idea of “cooking” is calling for take-out, then you probably shouldn’t be bidding on expensive stand mixers and other high-end kitchen items. ”

If you’d like to read that blog in its entirety, just click this link right here and you can check it out.

Gift Cards for All from the December 20th Blog

December 20th’s blog was suggestions to finish up buying last minute gifts on DealDash. The top tip from that blog was to stock up on gift cards. They’re great for everyone and make an excellent present to take with you in case you unexpectedly need a gift. That particular blog suggested a few gift cards that would work for just about any person on your list:

“There are gift cards that span across ages and genders such as Red Robin, Longhorn Steakhouse, and the Olive Garden.”

DealDash has a super selection of gift cards. And remember, if you don’t win the gift card you were bidding on you can always BIN (Buy It Now) and get all of your bids back.

Bid on Bids from the December 22nd Blog

The blog on December 22nd was encouraging bidders to try some tips they might have been nervous to try before. There were a few good tips in there, but the star of the blog was using your bids to bid…on more bids! It might seem a little odd to use your bids to bid on bid packs, but give it a try!

DealDash Tips You Shouldn’t Be Afraid to Try

DealDash

Are there some DealDash tips that you have been afraid to try? Don’t be scared, jump right in!

Sometimes it’s fun to try new things, and other times it can be a little scary or frightening to step out of your comfort zone. It’s called the comfort zone because it’s comfortable – but just because you’re comfortable doesn’t mean that you are doing the best that you can do. This is true of any situation, not just DealDash auctions. So let’s step out of that cozy comfort zone and into some DealDash tips.

Try a Different Category

Do you find yourself bidding in the same auctions over and over again? Or perhaps you are just bidding in the same category time and time again. If either of those are true, then it’s time to try something different. Are you bidding on jewelry every day? Change things up! Bid on a home decor item next time. Are you purely a gift card bidder? Then bid on some art! No matter what you seem to gravitate towards, give something else a try.

Use Your Bids to Get Bids

Do you bid on bids? Well, maybe you should! If you haven’t been bidding on bids, then you might be missing out! Some people feel a little strange about bidding on bid packs because bid packs have a Buy It Now (BIN) price of .60 per bid, so bid packs are not the optimal item to “go all the way” on. However, you can get some excellent deals on bids if you’re the winner. Personally, I have won a few bid pack auctions for just a few bids and been very happy about it. However, I have to urge you to have a set amount of bids in mind that you are willing to spend on each bid pack auction before you join the auction. It’s very easy to say to yourself “Just 10 more bids, just 5 more bids,” however that’s not a good plan. Pick a number and stick with it. If you don’t think that you can stick with the number that you choose, then stick the amount into the BidBuddy and check back later.

Don’t Be Afraid to BIN

If you’ve used quite a few bids in a DealDash auction and you don’t believe you will win then it’s time to BIN. The BIN (Buy It Now) feature takes away all of the scariness of bidding in an auction. When you BIN an auction that you didn’t win you get exactly the amount of bids that you placed back into your account. You can use these bids again anytime you like, in any auction that you want. You will also receive free shipping on every BIN as well as wins. Zero fear here!

Tips for Last Minute DealDash Gifts

DealDash

There are just a few shopping days left until Christmas. Pick up your final gifts today on DealDash.

Here’s a quick quiz for you: Where is the number one place not to go in the next week? The mall! The mall near my house was so busy that I had to sit in traffic to just drive past it to get somewhere else. So unless it’s an emergency, I would stay away from the mall at all costs. However, if you’re still in need of a few last minute presents, then it’s time for you to go to DealDash and finish up your list. Depending on what you win or BIN, it could possibly still arrive in time for Christmas. DealDash has the fastest shipping around!

Gift Cards for Everyone

Gift cards make an excellent gift for just about anyone. Some people find them impersonal, but if you really don’t know what to get someone who is hard to shop for, then a gift card will be appreciated. Trust me, if the choice is between making an absolute guess on a gift or a gift card to a restaurant or store, the person would prefer a gift card.

DealDash has the perfect gift card for anyone on your shopping list this year. There are gift cards that span across ages and genders such as Red Robin, Longhorn Steakhouse, and the Olive Garden. There are gift cards for kids such as Toys R Us, and gift cards for the whole family such as AMC Theater or Barnes and Noble. Remember, when in doubt, a gift card makes the perfect gift for anyone.

Bags Make a Great Gift

No matter what the age of the person you need a gift for, if they are at least school age, then a bag could be your gift solution. DealDash has all sorts of bags, from laptop and backpacks to briefcases and purses. These bags are made of high-quality leather and are designed to last for many, many years to come. These aren’t your run-of-the-mill bags that you might find at your local discount store, they are made with expert craftsmanship and materials.

If high-quality bags don’t seem like the kind of gift your recipient would need, DealDash has other types of bags as well. DealDash has toiletry bags, travel bags, duffle bags, and of course suitcases as well. You might want to consider getting a toiletry bag from DealDash and stuffing it with travel items such as a toothbrush, small shampoo and conditioner, a tiny sewing kit, and q-tips and cotton balls. It would make a fun and thoughtful gift for many people on your Christmas list.

Quick Tips for Great Wins on DealDash

DealDash

Do you need some quick DealDash tips to get you going on your way to wins? No problem, the DealDash Tips Blog is here to help.

If you find yourself bidding in auctions on DealDash and not winning as much as you would like, then maybe you need some tips to help get yourself some wins. Depending on what you are trying to win, these tips could make the difference between you winning or BINning an auction. Read on for more information on DealDash quick tips.

Don’t Get in Over Your Head

When you’re bidding in an auction on DealDash, be sure that you aren’t getting on over your head. For example, if you know that you only have 100 bids in your bid bank and no plans to buy more bids that day, then you probably shouldn’t get into an auction for a high-dollar auction. Sure, people have won TVs and other expensive items for just 100 bids, but it’s fairly unlikely. You would have a much better chance of winning something smaller such as jewelry or a smaller household item.

Only Bid on Your Favorites

In addition to not bidding on large items when you have very few bids, you should really only be bidding on things that you are crazy about. Why in the world would you want to use up your bids on something that you wouldn’t be thrilled to own or to give as a gift? Of course, there is always the option on DealDash to exchange your win for bids, but I personally wouldn’t recommend bidding on things solely to exchange them. Winning something that you love is such a better feeling than winning something that you are only “so-so” about.

Bid for Your Lifestyle

Bidding for your lifestyle is important, too. You might really love that kayak or that tent, but if you live in a tiny apartment in the middle of a big city and rarely get out into the wilderness, then they probably aren’t really good items for you to bid on. The same goes for you non-cooks – if your idea of “cooking” is calling for take-out, then you probably shouldn’t be bidding on expensive stand mixers and other high-end kitchen items. Bid on what you love, and what makes sense for your lifestyle.
