DealDash Doesn’t Tease! Try These Tips

DealDash

If you haven’t used DealDash yet, you’re in for a treat! DealDash doesn’t tease, they always deliver!

Have you ever seen ads for some of the other auction sites? They make big promises, but when you actually use them they are really just a tease? For example, they might offer big prizes on the ad, but when you actually get there it’s all low-value items? Well, with DealDash, you’re not going to have that problem. And here’s why.

Quality Merchandise

When you see the ads for DealDash on TV, you see TVs, iPads, and high-end kitchen mixers, correct? Well, when you go to DealDash to bid, you will see all of those items and many more. There are so many awesome things on DealDash, that it can be hard to choose what to bid on. The good thing is, you don’t have to choose! You can enter as many DealDash auctions as you like, as long as you have bids in your bid bank.

Absolutely No Bots

There are no bots on DealDash bidding with the real players. The only time that you will encounter anything other than a human opponent is when real people like you are using their BidBuddies. The BidBuddy is a simple tool that you can use to bid on auctions when you aren’t at your computer. You just put in the number of bids that you want to spend, and the BidBuddy will bid with them until you have either won or run out of bids. You can cancel or add more bids at any time.

The only other time that you will see a non-human bidding is when you take the DealDash tutorial. The tutorial is located in the “Help” section located on the main page at the bottom. In the tutorial, you will be bidding against a computer to show you how to use DealDash. It will not use any of your real bids. You might even earn a few free bids for taking the tutorial, give it a try!

Stay Awake, Stay Alert and Win on DealDash

When I first started shopping on DealDash.com I sometimes fell asleep at my computer, especially when playing late at night. Unfortunately, I often woke up just in time to see someone else win, too. Did that ever happen to you?

I now know that it is never a good idea to shop online when I am too tired to stay awake. Sometimes, however, an auction I want to win might not close for a long time. Therefore, I am up bidding much longer than I anticipated.

If we are rich enough to load our auctions down with enough bids to win no matter what, we might be able to go to sleep and see if we win in the morning. But if we want to save bids, it’s a better idea to learn how to remain alert and awake.

That’s why I made a list of things I can do to prevent myself from falling asleep.

  1. Make some coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. Before leaving my computer for a few minutes, I add enough bids so I will not run out before I return. Some shoppers might take a mobile tablet or IPhone with them. However, I prefer playing using my big screen monitor on my computer. Perhaps other senior citizens, with poor eye sight, might prefer using a big screen and home computer, too.
  2. Listen to some lively music. If we listen to soothing music, I might just help to put us to sleep instead.
  3. Go to the bathroom and splash cold water on your face, which always wakes me up.
  4. Stand up for a few minutes and exercise. Swinging my arms back and forth or doing some jumping jacks helps to keep me awake.

Believe me; nothing is more irritating than falling asleep at the wrong time and waking up just in time to see someone else win right before our eyes. If we do some of the above, our eyes will stay open–not shut.

Timing Tips to Use on DealDash

DealDash

Here on DealDash Tips we often talk about how to bid. Sometimes when you bid is just as important. Read on for more information from DealDash.

If you’ve been bidding on DealDash for a while you have probably gotten your bidding style down to a science. However, when you bid, and how often you are also very important factors are well. If you’ve been thinking more about how to bid than when to bid, then this is the article that you need to read.

Weekends and Holidays

You might think that DealDash closes on weekends or for holidays, but you’d be mistaken! DealDash is open every hour of the day, every day of the year. Wow, that’s a lot of time for you to bid. If you would like to bid when there is less competition, then a holiday might be exactly the time that you want to bid. Normally DealDash runs some great bid sales and promotions on holidays to bring in the customers. Typically, people are not as interested in bidding on holidays because they are busy doing activities. So if you have some time to spare, then a holiday could be an excellent time for you to bid.

Weekends, on the other hand, are not my personal favorite time to bid. There seems like there is a lot more competition on the weekends. That makes for some exciting auctions, of course, but I would personally prefer to watch, learn, and take notes on the weekends instead of bidding myself. It’s up to you, on DealDash you are in control of your bidding. That’s one of the things that makes people come back to DealDash again and again!

What Time, You Ask?

“When is the best time to bid?” is a very common question on DealDash. Unfortunately, though, I can’t really tell you for sure. It seems like there are different “good” times on different days. And, like everything else in life, it seems to change pretty often.

However, I can help you a little bit with this question. You can use the Winner’s Tab to see if anyone is currently getting a great deal. Some days it seems like everyone is getting a great deal, and other days it seems like everyone is ending up doing a BIN (Buy It Now). The good news is, you can watch and contemplate on DealDash for as long as you want, and decide if you want to bid or not. Take your time, observe the auctions, and get a great deal.
