DealDash Tips for “Gotta Win Items

DealDash

DealDash has many items that are different and unique, and there is a lot of variety. What are some of your “gotta win” items?

DealDash is known for its awesome selection and having many varying and differing categories. However, some items that DealDash carries are extremely amazing and just so different than anything that I have seen on any other auction site. Most of the other pay-to-bid sites have “just gift cards” or “just electronics.” DealDash has seven categories to choose from, and within those categories are many, many different types of items. Your “gotta have” items are probably different than mine, which are probably different from the next person, but what remains a constant on DealDash is their commitment to having amazing items that you can win for a great price. Here are some of my personal “gotta have” items.

Robotic Vacuums

One of the absolute best and most-used item that I have gotten from DealDash is my robotic vacuum. Mine is programmed to run every second day, and it really helps keep my house neat and clean even though I have three messy kids. The robotic vacuum that I have can be programmed to run every day if I so choose, and it really makes a difference in the cleanliness of my home. DealDash doesn’t just offer one type of robotic vacuum, they have several different ones to choose from. If you would like to see the robotic vacuums that DealDash has, then just click on this link right here.

Lego Sets and Pieces

When I asked my kids what their favorite items are that I have won from DealDash, the resounding answer was “LEGO SETS!!”. DealDash offers a huge variety of Lego sets for auction, and unlike some of the other “gotta have” items on my list, they are offered almost every single day. For instance, today I see that there are two Lego sets up for bid – a Lego Batman set from DC Comics and Lego City Police station. Lego is fun for both kids and grown-ups alike and can be a really fun project for the whole family to work on together if it’s a larger set. If you’d like to see what Lego sets are currently up for bid or coming soon, then just click this link right here.

Gardening Items

This Spring and Summer I have gotten more interested in gardening than ever before. Luckily, DealDash provides auctions that fit my needs, budget, and interests. There are many home and garden items available, and I have gotten quite a few of them. Some I have won, and some I have BINned (Buy It Now), but no matter what way I got them, I have been happy with all of them! When you get an item from DealDash they are all protected with manufacturer’s warranties, just like if you had bought them at a store. If you’d like to check out the garden items that DealDash currently has up for bid, then just click this link right here.

DealDash Tips: Best time to Bid?

By Barbara

Everybody wants to know: When is the best time to bid? What days and what time of the day would customers have the best chance of winning the most auctions on DealDash?

I wanted to know the answer to these questions, too, so I did some experimenting. I played on DealDash on different days of the week, different times of the day and night and during all of the various features DealDash has to offer. This is what I learned:

  1. Only bid when you have the time, with no other distractions. I always do best when I have nothing else to do but to focus on winning a DealDash auction. Playing on DealDash whenever I have many other tasks to do does not work. Distractions often make the difference between winning and losing.
  2. Shop on DealDash when other customers are less likely to be online. For example, during the Super Bowl, when most people are busy watching the game.
  3. Avoid shopping during the most popular special features. Bidding during the “Free to the Winner” features might not be the best time to win. Why? That’s when everybody jumps online, so the competition appears to be much stronger. Winning a “free to the winner” auction is great, but not if it takes five times more bids to win because bids cost money
  4. Shop during the week days if you can and avoid week ends. Why? Many working customers are far more likely to shop online on weekends when they get time off from work.
  5. Consider Time Zones, and try to shop when the majority of other bidders are sleeping. I’ve had some of my best wins in the middle of the night and early in the morning.

If you try bidding at these times, you might win more auctions.

Want Wins? DealDash Tips to the Rescue!

DealDash

Do you like you should be getting more wins on DealDash? Let’s look at your strategies and see what might be going wrong.

Everyone who bids on DealDash uses a strategy, whether they realize they’re using it or not. Some of us think deeply about our strategies and others not so much. Some of us consciously try to change up our strategies to confuse other bidders, and some don’t. That’s the great thing about DealDash, you can bid any way that you want, and other people can bid any way that they want. There are very few rules on DealDash, such as no team bidding and no vulgar names, but you can basically bid however you feel best suits the particular auction that you are trying to win.

Are You Being TOO Cautious?

Personally, I feel like I am a rather cautious DealDash player. I don’t ever go for huge wins such as TVs or computers because I am not prepared to BIN (But It Now) them. I stick with small to medium sized items or gift cards because I am always ready to BIN these things. However, there are bidders even more cautious than me who rarely spend more than 25 or 50 bids on an auction. This is probably because they aren’t prepared to BIN if they don’t win. If you’re more on the cautious side, then perhaps you should stick with auctions that you actually need and want. This way you can spend more than 20 or so bids and have a much greater chance of winning the auction.

Or Maybe You’re Too Reckless

On the flip side of the cautious coin, there are other bidders who are much too reckless with their bids. They will throw 100 bids here, and 100 bids there, and another 100 bids on another auction, all at the same time. They won’t stay and monitor the auctions, they just keep throwing bid after bid after bid onto different auctions, all at the same time. This is not typically considered a good strategy, because even though you can use the BidBuddy on as many auctions as you like at the same time, you will have better results if you monitor the auctions that you are bidding on, and add more or cancel your BidBuddies as you need to.

Bid How You Like

No matter how cautious or how reckless you are on DealDash, that’s okay! Maybe you can be cautious one day and reckless the next, and keep the other bidders guessing. It’s always good to have a little mystery in your life, why not start with DealDash?

DealDash Tips: Six Good Rules to Follow

By Barbara

To be a successful shopper on DealDash, it’s a good idea to develop some good rules to follow. Some good rules I follow are:

  1. Always purchase bids when they go on sale. Sometimes the bid packages go on sale for as little as 11 to 12 cents per bid. That’s a good time to buy enough bids to last for the month.
  2. Avoid bidding when you are tired. Otherwise, you run the risk of falling asleep at your computer at the wrong time.
  3. Always use BidBuddy. Most of the winners on DealDash allow the automated bidder to place their bids for them. You can find BidBuddy by double clicking on the auction you want to win. A new window will open up and then you can see all kinds of valuable information.
  4. Focus on one auction at a time. If you bid on several auctions at the same time, you increase your risk of running out of bids before you have a chance to win any of them. If you put all of your bids in one auction but do not win, all you have to do is buy that one auction (BIN) to get all your bids back. If you bid in five auctions and do not win, you would have to purchase all five auctions to get all your bids back.
  5. Always bid when the competition is low. This changes from day to day and month to month, so it’s a good idea to check on a daily basis to see how many active bidders are participating.
  6. Be patient. Of course, we must place at least one bid near the beginning of an auction so we don’t get locked out. After that, wait until only two or three bidders are left in the auction. That’s the best time to place the rest of your bids.

As long as you follow the above rules, you should be able to win more auctions. After getting some experience, however, you might want to take more risks in an effort to win a bigger, more expensive auction. Good luck and happy bidding!
