Be Your Own Valentine & Get Yourself a Great Gift on DealDash

Let’s face it—Valentine’s Day is for a select few. It’s for the dating, the engaged, the marrieds…and not so much for the lovelorn (like myself). I’m a huge advocate of loving yourself and treating yourself right. So this Valentine’s Day, it’s my personal mission to treat myself to some amazing DealDash finds and to be my own Valentine.

So as I’m looking at all the wonderful things on DealDash, I have to ask myself what type of products will bring me a sense of well-being and love and here’s what I have come up with to treat myself this Valentine’s Day:

  • A plush robe – It might be a night in for me and if so, I’m getting warm and cozy in something comfortable and decadently soft.
  • A neck, back or chair massager – Yes, you can actually find all three of these on DealDash!
  • A soothing fountain – There’s simply nothing like the sound of flowing water to ease your mind and bring you peace.
  • Gorgeous jewelry – There are so many new styles and metals to choose from right now that you will absolutely find just the right piece for you.
  • A new purse or handbag – Chic, elegant, casual, everyday? Whichever your style, DealDash has just the right bag for you.
  • A candle – With different sizes and scents to choose from, a candle is sure to brighten your day—or night!
  • A gift card – For whatever your heart desires, grab a gift card for coffee, dinner or something amazing at your favorite retail store.

Whether you’re bidding on something great for yourself or for someone else, DealDash is the place for savings and the best way to get just the right gift for Valentine’s Day.

Check Out the New Sparklies from the January 30th’s Blog

The blog on January 30th was about all of the new and interesting jewelry choices DealDash. There were a few good tips in there, but the tip to remember from that blog was about the new earrings. Have you ever seen asymmetrical earrings? From that blog:

“The way that Alert Me works is simple. Just do a search in the DealDash search bar for the auction that you want, and it will come up. If there is no auction for the item currently scheduled, then you can click the button that says Alert Me, and DealDash will send you an email when there has been an auction scheduled for the item.”

One-Of-A-Kind Pieces from January 31st’s Blog

January 31st’s blog was all about new home decor items and ways to save on DealDash. The top tip of that blog was to check out the new one-of-a-kind pieces on DealDash. These items are handmade and beautiful. “Wow” your guests when they visit your home. From the blog:

“One of my favorite parts of DealDash is the fact that they are constantly switching up their inventory to include new and different items. Some of these items are one-of-a-kind handmade collector pieces that you aren’t able to get just anywhere.”

Either way, you’ll be getting the outdoors items that you want, and they will even come to you with free shipping. Read on for some tips on outdoorsy items from DealDash.

Get the Survival Tool You Need

A survival tool is a great item for just about everyone. You don’t have to be a big outdoorsman (or woman!), the survival tool that DealDash offers for auction has so many practical uses that you should keep one in your garage and your car just in case you need it when you’re out. Here are the items that this all-in-one tool offers:

  • axe
  • shovel
  • hoe
  • hammer
  • outdoor knife
  • wire cutter
  • bottle opener
  • ice pick
  • firestarter
  • whistle
  • glass breaker
  • rope

As you can see, there are so many tools on this one item that could be of use to everyone from your teen who likes to go geocaching to your elderly mother who is scared about being trapped in the car in case of an accident.

A Flashlight That Lasts

Think about the flashlights that you have in your pantry or junk drawer. If they are the cheapie $5 flashlights that are an impulse buy at the cash register at the hardware store, then you probably want something a little sturdier. Enter the practically indestructible tactical flashlight that DealDash has up for auction. This flashlight is made of weapon-grade aluminum and has a high-powered LED light with 100,000 hours of lifetime. That’s one sturdy and long-lived flashlight!

Get an Emergency Kit

Another item that is great for both emergencies and having fun in the outdoors is an emergency kit. No matter if you’re going on a day hike or a week’s camping trip you need an emergency kit. The emergency kit that DealDash offers is jam-packed with items that are absolutely essential to the hiker, camper, or even at home. Here’s what the kit includes:

  • Emergency first aid kit

New to DealDash? Five Things You Need to Know to Get Winning

DealDash is becoming more and more known—and more and more popular! More than ever before, the number of new bidders in increasing on a regular basis and with that comes a welcome introduction of five things you need to know as a new bidder.

  1. Discover the Tools

DealDash makes it easy for new bidders to learn what they need to know through their How it Works tab. Within this section you will find many sections on how to get started, a fantastic tutorial and tips and tricks. Work through each tab to educate yourself before you get started. And don’t forget to check in regularly for customer-written blogs like this one!

  1. Bid Buddy is Your Best Friend

It’s true! Never miss out on the auction you want to win or get distracted by a doorbell and lose an auction again! Just pre-set the number of bids you want to place in an auction and Bid Buddy will do all the work for you, placing your bids, one at a time, at just the right second.

  1. Don’t be a Stomper or a Jumper

Nothing is more annoying than a “stomper.” This is someone who places one bid directly after each person on the bidding board. Doing so prevents the ten-second time from counting down for that person and prevents them from getting the “time as highest bidder” they could earn toward free bids. Use Bid Buddy instead. It’s a safer bet, you’ll use less bids and be more likely to win in the long run. Being a “jumper” is when you wait until there are just a few people in the auction remaining and “jump” in to start your bidding. Oftentimes other bidders who have been in the auction a while will just see this as a reason to raise their bidding stakes and outbid you because they’re in it for the long haul.

  1. Set Your Sights on Items You Want to Win

This is the No. 1 rule of DealDash, by the way. Bid only on the items you want to win. This is a tough one but it makes so much sense. Not only will you invest in what you want, but you’ll also not feel so deflated if you happen to lose. The best part of adhering to this rule of thumb is that you will be more likely to use the Buy it Now feature and get all your bids on that item returned to your account. It’s a win-win!

  1. Try Different Days and Different Times

Always ask yourself if you are bidding during a day or time when most other people you know have “down time” to do so also (is it evening, holiday or a weekend?) and if the answer is yes, then chances are the competition may be higher during these times. Try bidding during an uncommon day or time and you may just score the big win!

I hope these tips will be helpful and I hope that before you know it you will be winning big on DealDash! Happy bidding!
