DealDash Tips – Should I Bid Like This?

DealDash

When you’re a beginner on DealDash, sometimes you might wonder if you’re making mistakes while bidding. Follow these tips, and you won’t have to wonder anymore.

When you’re a beginner on DealDash, it’s easy to get a little flustered and think that maybe you aren’t bidding correctly. Everyone, even seasoned DealDash bidders, make mistakes, but if you read the DealDash Tips Blog you’ll make far less of them. This article is going to point out a few common things that you might find yourself wondering if you’re doing the right thing on DealDash.

Is This a Good Auction to Bid on?

If you’ve only been a DealDash member for a short time, then sometimes you might find yourself wondering which auction that you should bid on. I remember when I started bidding on DealDash I was so confused as to which auction I should bid on. With so many choices on the home page to choose from, it can be a little overwhelming at first.

My advice to you would be to check out the categories first. You can find them in the drop-down menu on the left side of the homepage. From there, you can choose a category you like, then choose your auction. This way you can see if the item you like is offered at more than one time, and what other similar things are available.

Is This a Good Time to Buy Bids?

After you’ve purchased your initial bid pack on DealDash you might wonder when the right time is to “top up” your bids. My answer to that would be – if you see a sale going on that makes the bid price less than .15, it’s a good time to buy bids. Occasionally there will be some “extra special” bid sales, such on holidays, or even special low bid prices for completing a task. This task might be to “Win 5 auctions this week” or “Place a bid in 50 different auctions this week” or…Anything really, you never know what DealDash is going to come up with next. That’s one of the things that makes DealDash so fun and exciting.

Why Am I Not Winning?

If you just started on DealDash and haven’t won an auction yet, or you’ve only won a couple, there could be a few different reasons. Here are a few ideas:

  • You’re not placing enough bids. If you are only placing a few bids in an auction and then moving on to the next one, that could be a big reason. If you see an auction that you really want to win, you should place more than a couple bids on it if you want to be triumphant.
  • You’re not watching the auctions before you bid. Watching the auctions before you bid in them is a really good thing to boost your chances of winning.

Remember, if you don’t win an auction you can always BIN it. BIN means Buy It Now, if you purchase an item that you were bidding on then DealDash will refund all of the bids that you placed in that auction. It’s a WIN-BIN situation!

DealDash Top Tips Round-Up for 04/06

DealDash

Welcome to the first April edition of DealDash Weekly Top Tips Round-Up! As we do on this blog, we will round-up the top tips for you from the week before. Read on for many helpful tricks from DealDash Tips.

Welcome to the first edition in the DealDash Top Tip Round-Up series for the month of April. In this awesome weekly series, we highlight the most helpful tips from the week before. This series is all about DealDash knowledge for all bidders on DealDash. Read on for a recap of the best tips from last week, from the DealDash Tips Blog.

Don’t Bid Right Away from the March 31st Blog

The theme of the March 31st blog was all about observing your competition on DealDash. The top tip of that blog was to be sure to stop and observe the auction before you jump right in bidding. You never know what’s going to happen in a DealDash auction, but you can save yourself some bids if you do a little observation first. Here is a great tip from that blog:

“ This way you can get a feel for how long people typically stay in an auction, how many people stop bidding by $1 or $2 or $5, and also start to get familiar with some people’s screen names.”

Remember, watching the auctions doesn’t cost you anything, and can save you some money and bids in the long run.

 from the March 25th Blog

The blog on March 25th was all about the different bundles available on DealDash. There are tons of different ones for all different types of people. From that blog written by Theresa:

“Don’t forget to check out new bundles and view them all by browsing categories (just under the banner on the main page) and choosing Bundles from the dropdown menu. ”

Treat Yourself! From the April 2nd Blog

April 2nd’s blog was all about treating yourself to something nice on DealDash. There are lots of ways to treat yourself. Here is a quick list from the blog:

  • Art – If you like paintings or sculptures, DealDash has you covered when it comes to art
  • Fountains – Fountains are not only beautiful but relaxing as well
  • Clocks – The clocks that DealDash offer are like pieces of art – yet useful as well
  • Decorative Storage – If you want something that looks beautiful and can store things as well, look no further than DealDash

Choose the Right Sleeping Bag from the April 4th Blog

April 4th’s blog was filled with some ideas on freshening up your camping gear with auctions on DealDash. It’s important to get the correct sleeping bag for the weather you’re camping in. From the blog:

“This Coleman cool weather sleeping bag is made for camping temperatures between 30 and 50 degrees, which is perfect for a chilly (but not too cold) Spring overnight. If you would prefer something that can handle even colder weather, DealDash has those, too. Just click on this link here and you can check out the sleeping bags on DealDash.”

Pros & Cons of Exchanging for Bids from the April 5th Blog

The April 5th DealDash Tips article was all about the pros and cons of exchanging your wins for bids. There were many good points in this blog that was written by Barbara, but the takeaway of this blog for me was this:

“If I win a product that rarely goes up for auction, I most likely would not want to exchange it for bids.”

There are certain items on DealDash that just don’t come around too often – the one that sticks out in my mind is the LitterMaid automatic cat box. It comes up occasionally, but not often enough that I would ever think about exchanging it for bids if I was to win. Other things, like earrings, come up multiple times per day, and I have often exchanged them for bids.

If you’d like to read the whole pros and cons list, just click here.

You Should Try These DealDash Tips Today!

DealDash

If you’re not trying these tips from DealDash then you aren’t winning as many auctions as you could. Try these tips today and see your bidding improve.

Welcome to the DealDash Tips blog. If you’re a new bidder and haven’t gotten too much experience bidding yet, no problem. The DealDash Tips Blog exists so all bidders can learn tips and tricks and keep everyone on a level playing field. Here are some tips that you’ll want to try today and start racking up your wins on DealDash.

Get Your Free Bids

There are many opportunities on DealDash to get free bids. You can do this in many ways, such as signing in and bidding every day, taking the DealDash tutorial, writing reviews on products that you win from DealDash, and by answering short surveys that DealDash occasionally sends out. There are even more ways to get free bids than that – this is just the beginning!

Use the DealDash App

Another great tip to improve your bidding on DealDash is to download and use the DealDash app. It’s totally free and available for both iOS and Android devices. You can use a phone or tablet, and take DealDash with you everywhere that you go. You’ll never miss an auction again when you download and use the app. Just think, instead of having to open up a window, type in the address, and sign in, you can simply touch the icon on your device and be ready to bid! It’s a huge time-saver. You can download the app right here at this link.

Use BidBuddy – He’s Free!

The BidBuddy is an automated bidding tool that you can control from your computer. Every person has a BidBuddy they can use, and there is a BidBuddy on every single auction if you open up its individual page from the main home page. Choose an auction that you’re interested in and open up the individual auction page. You’ll see the BidBuddy located in the middle of the screen. Simply add as many bids as you want to use and hit “Book a BidBuddy.” He will bid until you either cancel him or run out of bids. You can always add more bids as well if you would like.

Tips to Start the Week on DealDash

DealDash

Let’s start out your week right with DealDash Tips. Here are some tips that you’ll want to keep in mind as you’re bidding this week.

Starting the week off right on DealDash is an important thing – it can set the pace for the whole week. You will want to start bidding early and often to get a quick win so you can gain confidence in yourself as a bidder. You don’t want to start off your week bidding on DealDash on a bad note. Here are some tips that you’ll want to use to get your week started out right!

Start Out Small at the Beginning of the Week

As I mentioned above, it’s important to get your week started off right with a quick win. So this is why I suggest that you pick something small at the beginning of the week and get a quick win. If you can find an item that doesn’t have too much competition, then it would be worthwhile bidding on it to not only get a confidence boost but to get the ball rolling for lots of wins this week. You might try a piece of jewelry, a small bid pack, or a $10 gift card. These are items that don’t typically have tons of competition, and if you can find one that only has a few people bidding then you should go ahead and jump right in for a win.

If You Don’t Want the Item…

I just suggested bidding on something small in the beginning of the week. If you see an item that you’re pretty sure that you can win easily but it’s not something that you’re really that interested in, why not bid on it anyway? If you get it for a great price, then you might consider exchanging it for bids.

Personally, I don’t typically exchange things for bids if they aren’t my “cup of tea” because I have a box that I collect things in all year round to use as gifts. If I can get something for an awesome deal on DealDash that isn’t my taste or size then I get it anyway and keep it in the box. I can use it for holidays and birthdays throughout the year for friends, relatives, neighbors, and even gifts for my kid’s teachers.

Bidding and winning on DealDash in the beginning of the week is important to get your winning streak going and to boost your confidence. Try to get a win in early in the week, and watch yourself get more wins as your confidence and experience grows.

Some shoppers might take a mobile tablet or IPhone with them. However, I prefer playing using my big screen monitor on my computer. Perhaps other senior citizens, with poor eye sight, might prefer using a big screen and home computer, too.”
