Read on for a recap of the best tips from last week, from the DealDash Tips Blog.

Bid on Full-Priced Days from the May 19th Blog

The theme of May 12th’s blog was surprising tips to use on DealDash. The top tip of that blog was to remember that bidding on free or half-priced auction days might not yield you the best deal. Here is a great tip from that blog:

“Many bidders wait until DealDash is having a sale such as “Free” or “Half Price” auction days to bid. These promotions can get you a great deal monetarily if you win, but the competition is usually much stiffer on these days. So even though it seems counter-intuitive to get a deal, you might want to consider skipping the sales and bidding on full-priced auction days.”

Newbie Mistakes from the May 20th Blog

The blog on May 20th was full of suggestions for new bidders on DealDash. There were some great examples of tips and tricks for new DealDash bidders. From the blog, written by Barbara:

New DealDash shoppers might happen to be in the right auction at the right time and beat all odds by winning. However, most of the time, experienced players will most likely win the high-dollar auctions because they know what it takes to win them.”

Timid Bidder Tips DealDash from the May 21st Blog

The blog on May 21st was an article aimed at the more timid bidders on DealDash. There were quite a few tips that could be helpful, but the top tip is to not wait too long to bid and get locked out of the auction. From the blog:

“Next, you might get locked out. Normally, people are locked out of bidding on auctions at $5, however, there are some days when it’s $3. You’ll know when you sign in and read the main page.”

Search for the Best Auction from the May 23rd Blog

The blog on May 23rd was full of helpful tips for all bidders on DealDash. There were quite a few suggestions, but the best one was to be sure that you are bidding on the best time and day for the auction that you want. Here’s an idea:

“If you see that the very same item that you want is coming up later in the day, or maybe the next day, then take a good, hard look at the statistics on that item. You may find that the one that is coming up for bid now has a tendency to end earlier or later depending on the day that it has been offered in the past.”

Important DealDash Tips for May

DealDash

Welcome to the May DealDash Tips blog! I hope your May is going well so far. Here are some important tips for using DealDash in May.

There are some great things going on this month on DealDash. You won’t want to miss some of the great promotions and bid sales that are happening this month. The most important tip of the month is to be sure that you are going on DealDash and bidding! There’s no time like the present. Read this article and then head on over to DealDash and check out the new items.

 Return of the Mystery Items

You might have noticed last month that DealDash has been offering some mystery items up for bid. The way this works is this:

  • An auction will appear on your home screen that says it’s a mystery auction
  • There will be a timer counting down to when you can see the item
  • When the timer runs down to 5 minutes the item will be revealed

The benefit to a mystery auction is that no one can bid on it way in advance like the other auctions. You have to be present, either on your computer or on your smartphone, to bid on the item when it’s revealed. Therefore, there is much less competition for these items.

 More Promotions

In the Month of May, you will be seeing a lot of amazing promotions. For example, today all auction wins are 50% off! This gives you an excellent chance to save some money! The way that 50% auctions work is simple. You bid as your normally would, and when you win you only have to pay HALF of the final auction fee. Pretty cool, right? This means that you can bid even more if you plan on Buying It Now (BIN) because when you are calculating how many bids it will take to reach the BIN price you only have to estimate for half of the auction fee. It’s a great way to save money and have more fun bidding.

Take These DealDash Tips Seriously

DealDash

If you’ve been a regular reader of the DealDash Tips Blog then you are serious about using DealDash. Are you taking all of the tips seriously, though?

Taking the tips that you read on this blog seriously is important because it can make the difference between winning and losing an auction. It can make the difference between getting all of your bids back or having an empty bid bank. DealDash provides this blog as well as DealDashBlog.com and DealDashReviewed.com to help you and your fellow bidders make great auction decisions. Read on for more tips that you should be taking seriously, from DealDash.

DealDash Will Return Your Bids

Did you know that if you don’t win an auction you can still get all of your kids back? Let’s say that you are bidding on an item that you really like. You put all of your bids on it and strive to be the winner. Along the way you are picking up Time As The Highest Bidder (TATHB) on your bid meter, and you are getting really excited about the prospect of having this item in your home. However, you can’t win them all, and in this particular instance, you aren’t the winner of the auction. It’s not a problem when you use Buy It Now (BIN).

BIN is something that you should do when you have spent a lot of bids on one particular auction and you don’t win. To get all of your bids back you can simply pay for the item and DealDash will give you all of your bids back. No kidding! Every one! After your payment is processed and you get to the receipt screen you will see the bids in your bid bank returned.

Bid on What You Want and Need

Another thing that you should consider when bidding on DealDash auctions is you should be bidding on the things that you want and need, not just “bidding to bid”. Sure, you’re spending your bids in both scenarios, but you will be much happier when you win an auction that you’re really interested in rather than something you thought would be easy to win. Also, as we talked about above, if you are bidding on something that you really want or need then it’s a total “no-brainer” to purchase the item and get all of your bids back if you aren’t the winner.
