Bid Early and Often on DealDash from the June 2nd Blog

The theme of June 2nd’s blog explored some ways that you can rule the auctions on DealDash. The top tip of that blog was to remember to bid early before the auction hits $5 so you won’t be locked out. Here is a great tip from that blog:

“Many people like to get their bids in early so they aren’t locked out when the auction hits the $5 No Jumper limit. However, many, many people seem to just put in one bid to save their place. Sure, putting in 1 bid to save your place is a good idea. However, an even better idea would be to stick around and keep bidding. ”

See Which Items are Coming Up from the June 4th Blog

The blog on June 4th reminded us that there are so many auctions coming up, and you can see them if you go to the bottom of the home page and click through the pages. From the blog:

“ You can see about a day ahead when you click through the pages on the homepage of DealDash. This is far enough ahead that you can get a really good idea of what you are interested in bidding on, and when it starts. ”

Set an Alert to Win Tools from the June 6th Blog

The blog on June 6th was a reminder that if you want to win tools (or anything else) that aren’t currently up for auction, simply find the item you want with the search bar and set an alert. Here are the instructions from the blog:

“Setting an alert is super simple. First, search for the tool that you’re interested in bidding on. Then click the button that says “Alert me” and DealDash will send you an email when they have scheduled an auction for this tool. ”

Get Your Bids in Early

If you know that you are ready to bid on a particular auction, even though it isn’t coming up for a few hours, no problem. You can still book your bids. Just go to that auction’s page and click the “Book a BidBuddy” button. From there you can put in how many bids that you are interested in spending, and you will be assured a place in the auction even if you aren’t able to be at the computer when the auction starts. This is a really smart thing to do. There are so many different things that might keep you from coming to bid on an auction, from getting home late after work to just plain old forgetting.
