Fun Tips for DealDash Super Wins

DealDash

Have you ever had a DealDash “Super Win”? I consider a super win any auction that you can win for less than 10 bids. Here are some tips for getting a DealDash super win!

Getting a super win is seriously an exciting thing. Personally, I jump up and down and go “WoooHooo!!!”, however some of you might be a little more classy than myself. Over my years playing on DealDash I have gotten many, many super wins. Come to think of it, my first three wins were actually super wins! I was able to get three different gift cards for just a couple of bids each. Of course, when you are first starting out DealDash goes easy on you with “beginner auctions” than only other newbies are able to see on the main auction screen. I’ve gotten many super wins since those, of course, and there are some ways that you can increase your odds of getting a DealDash super win, read on to find out how.

Bid at the Right Time, on the Right Day

You’re most likely not going to get a super win on a very busy and popular time to play on DealDash. So Saturday prime-time is out, as well as Sunday afternoons. I find these to be two of the busiest times to bid. When you’re trying to sneak in  few super wins, you’re going to have to figure out some unpopular times and days to bid. When are these days and times? You might think that very late at night might be a good time, but honestly, I’ve found that late nights are quite busy on DealDash, at least here in the Eastern Time Zone. Personally, I have had much more luck bidding in the early morning – when people on the East Coast are typically getting ready for work and the people on the West Coast are still sleeping. Of course, your results may vary.

Bid on the Right Items

Let’s face it, folks, you’re not going to get a $1,000 TV or a $1,500 massage chair for just a few bids. Of course, miracles can happen, but in my experience the smaller, less popular items are ones that you can get for just a few bids. Some examples of things that I have personally won with less than 10 bids are: necklaces, rings, sheets, a comforter, kid’s items, Blu-Ray discs, and even $10 gift cards here and there. I have seen people get some amazing things for less than 10 bids, though, such as artwork, clothing, and even video games.

Don’t Lose That Auction! DealDash Tips

DealDash

Winning a DealDash auction is the goal! Don’t lose that auction. Here are some tips from DealDash to help you succeed.

Why would you bother coming to DealDash if you didn’t want to win an auction? Of course you want to win! However, the competition can be fierce at times, and it’s important that you do all of the right things so that you will have a better chance at winning. Keep in mind that there are probably anywhere between 2-50 (or more!) bidders in any given auction, and every single one of those bidders wants to win. You need to keep your eye on the prize and stay one step ahead of those other bidders.

Just Walk Away…For a While

If you’ve been bidding in an auction for a while with no end in sight, then maybe it’s time to step away for a bit and regroup. Before you leave, count the number of active bidders. If there are still at least five active bidders, then you should be safe to take a little break. Of course, when you do this you always run the risk of the auction ending suddenly and losing your place in the auction. However, if there are five or more active bidders then the chance of the auction ending suddenly within a half hour or so is unlikely. If you’d like to take a little break without running the risk of losing your spot in the auction, then set up your BidBuddy to bid for you while you’re away.

The BidBuddy Saves the Day Again

Using the BidBuddy so that you can take a bidding break is always a good idea. That way you can get a snack, use the bathroom, and regroup without losing your spot in the auction. The BidBuddy is the ultimate weapon that DealDash gives (free of charge) to all bidders. You can put in as many or as few bids as you like, and you can cancel it or add more bids at any time. You can start the BidBuddy, stop it, and start it again as many times as you like. The BidBuddy is there to serve you.

Don’t Get Distracted With Other Auctions

I know how tempting it is to bid in a few different auctions at once, and you can do that if you’re using the BidBuddy. If you’re bidding manually, though, stick with one auction at a time. The best way to lose an auction is to stop giving it your 100% attention. Remember that for next time you’re bidding and get a wandering eye.

Tips to Staying Positive – Losing on DealDash

DealDash

Everyone loses sometimes, and it’s important to stay and stay positive even when you’re not winning. Here are some tips from DealDash to help.

We’ve all been there – we begin bidding in an auction, and there are only a few people. You see that the people are new when their bidding bios pop up as they bid. “Oh, this will be easy,” you say, “I’m sure to win.” However, the people keep bidding, and other people keep joining, until there are now 25 different people bidding on this auction. You’re now feeling less and less confident by the moment. We’ve all had this happen to us, and believe me, it’s no fun. However, this isn’t the end of the world. There will be other auctions, and you will win bigger and better things in time. Here are some tips from DealDash to help you through the rough spots.

There’s Always BIN (Buy It Now)

In the above situation that I described there are basically two courses of action – drop out of the auction and lose your bids, or do a BIN. A Buy It Now is the wisest way to use your money and bids on DealDash. With BIN, if you have bid to many times and are still not going to win the item you can purchase it at the retail price that is listed on the auction page. After you have paid you will have all of the bids that you spent on the auction returned to your account. If you’re bidding on an auction that you’re really interested in having, and if you’ve bid close to the purchase price, it only makes sense to do a Buy It Now on the auction.

Remember That There Will Be Other Auctions

DealDash often has the same products available to win every few days or so. And in some cases multiple items of the same kind every day. If you’re losing an auction and you haven’t invested too many bids on it, then maybe you should just bow out, walk away, and find a similar auction the next day. You can easily do a search for anything that you would like to bid on in the search bar on the main page. There are very few things on DealDash that will never show up again. Typically the same items are offered, however, if there is an item that you’re really interested in and you don’t see it in the upcoming auctions, feel free to email DealDash customer service. They do their best to put up items that they know that the bidders are interested in.

Tips for Being in Control of Your Bids

DealDash

Part of DealDash is making sure that you’re in control of your bids and staying within your budget. Here are some tips from DealDash to help.

You wouldn’t pay $100 for a hamburger, so why would you spend 1,000 bids on a small trinket? It’s very important when you have fun on DealDash that you pay attention to what you’re doing and stay within whatever budget that you’ve set for yourself. Sometimes you can lose track of things in the heat of the moment, so here are some ideas to keep you on track and within budget.

Set Your Budget, Set Your BidBuddy

If you know exactly how many bids that you want to spend on a particular auction, then there’s really no need to stick around. That’s what the BidBuddy is for! The BidBuddy is there to bid for you and do exactly as you want him to do. For instance, if it’s a “Free Auction Weekend,’ then you know that it’s safe to bid it up to exactly the retail price so you can BIN (Buy It Now) if you don’t win. So, personally, I would just put in enough bids to reach the BIN price, and then walk away. Because for me, if I stay and watch the auction action, occasionally I get too involved and end up adding more and more and more bids to the BidBuddy! So now, I put in the bids to reach the BIN, and walk away. It works for me.

Keep an Eye on Your Bids While Bidding

If setting the BidBuddy and walking away isn’t really your style or preference, then, by all means, stay and watch! Or even just place single click bids, with DealDash it’s all up to you! However, when you’re bidding, be sure that you keep a very close watch on your bids. Your bids are very easy to watch and keep track of, they are located at the top right of your screen. When you’re placing single bids it’s extremely important to watch your bids. When you use the BidBuddy it’s a lot easier to keep track of them.

Buy Your Bids When They are Cheap!

Saving money is important, and most people like to stick to a budget for the month. So if your budget for bids is $50, great, save it until the bids are .12-.14. If you are ready to buy bids and the price is .17,18,19, then wait! The price of bids fluctuate from day to day, so save your $50 and wait!
