With the winter still hanging on for a little bit longer, it’s important to keep your spirits up. Here are some tips to score pampering and beauty items on DealDash.

Do you like pampering, beauty, and “me time” type products? If so, then you definitely need to get yourself on over to DealDash to check out the amazing selection of things to make you feel relaxed, happy, and in tune with yourself. Here are some tips for winning pampering items on DealDash.

Look at All of the Different Items

Before doing any bidding on DealDash, you’ll need to select the item (or items!) that you would like to win or BIN for yourself. There are quite a few different choice of items on DealDash. With that said, here are some of the items that you might want to consider when you’re searching for items to pamper yourself on DealDash.

A massage item is a perfect thing to help you feel relaxed and excited about life. Pampering and “me time” isn’t just for the ladies, either.   • Bathrobe. DealDash offers a spa-style bathrobe that features a velour exterior and an absorbent terry interior. These bathrobes are up for auction in both white and gray. This is another item that’s great for a man or a woman. They are comfortable, roomy, and extremely high-end.
  • Skincare items. DealDash offers a few different skincare items to take care of your delicate facial skin. One of my favorite things to do when I get a little bit of time to myself is to give myself a nice facial in the bath. You have a choice of a sonic facial cleanser or a facial rejuvenator to give yourself a spa-like experience at home.

Pick the Best Auction Time

DealDash often offers the same item at different times during the day. If you have decided exactly what you want, then do a search with the search bar to see the different days and times that this particular item is up for bid. Choose the best time for you to bid in your DealDash auction. You can just load up your BidBuddy and have him bid for you, or you can choose a time where you can control the bids. It’s up to you! Personally, I set a BidBuddy and then check in on the auction now and then to see how it’s going. It’s up to you on DealDash, you’re in control!

Welcome to the newest DealDash Weekly Top Tip Round-Up for 2/16. As we do every week, we’ll round-up some of the top tips for you from the previous week. Read on for more helpful information from DealDash Tips.

Be Patient from the February 11th Blog

The theme of February 11th’s blog was all about how to win paintings on DealDash. The top tip of that blog was to be patient if you are really set on getting a painting from DealDash. The helpful suggestions were written by Theresa, here’s more from her on being patient:

It’s easy to say to yourself, “Oh, I’ll just remove my bids and watch the auction and jump back in.” However, on more times than I can tell you, I have done just this and the bidders go from ten to one in a blink of an eye and you’ve lost your chance. Hang in there!

Exciting New Feature from the February 14th Blog

February 14th’s blog was all about the new mystery auctions on DealDash. The mystery auctions are fun, exciting, and you can get an extra great deal on them. From the blog:

“When you sign into your account, if there is a mystery auction starting soon, you will see the picture to the above right – a purple rectangle with a question mark. It will also have a timer. The timer indicates when the mystery auction will be revealed so you can see what is up for bid. ”

Tips to Deal With Not Always Winning

Unfortunately, we don’t always win every auction. Here are some tips to get you “back in the saddle” for winning another auction.

The old adage is “you can’t win them all”, and that is true in life as well as DealDash. But there are hundreds of auctions every day on DealDash, so there are tons of chances for you to win. Here are some tips and tricks from the DealDash Tips Blog to get you back on track to winning more auctions.

Explore Your Possibilities

When you’re on DealDash it’s important to explore the different auctions. Expand your mind and explore all of the different categories and items that are up for auction. There are currently 9 categories on DealDash, and this is something that changes occasionally as DealDash expands and changes things around on the site. Here are the categories that are currently offered:

  1. New Items
  2. Bid Packs
  3. Bundles
  4. Electronics & Computers
  5. Fashion, Health, and Beauty
  6. Gift Cards
  7. Hobbies, Toys, Outdoors, and Games
  8. Home, Garden, and Tools
  9. Kitchen and Dining

No matter what kind of items that you are interested in winning, you’ll be able to find something that you’re interested in on DealDash. However, if you’ve been trying to win a particular item with no success, take a break! Bid on something else, try a different category. Explore and educate yourself on all of the different categories.

Take a Peek Into the Past

If you’ve been having trouble winning an auction, then check out some of the items that you won previously. What kinds of items were they? What time of day were you bidding? Was it on a holiday or a particular day of the week? See if you can spot some similarities in your previous wins and try to replicate them again and see if you can snag yourself another win.

Having previous wins is a great way to try and repeat your success, but if you are a new bidder and don’t have very many wins to compare, then you can always check out the “Winner’s Tab” on DealDash. Just navigate to the main page, and click the tab at the top that says “Winners”. This will take you to all of the wins on DealDash, starting with the most recent. You can scroll back indefinitely (as far as I know), once I scrolled back to the previous day. It’s really an invaluable source of information to take advantage of that DealDash offers anyone who cares to look.

BIN if You Don’t Win

If you are planning on purchasing any of the items that you are bidding on in a DealDash auction, then you’re a great candidate to do a BIN (Buy It Now) if you don’t win. DealDash offers the BIN on all auctions on the website. To complete a BIN, just pay retail price for the item and you will receive all of your bids back. You’ll receive your item, all of your bids back, and get to keep the clock time that you accrued while bidding, as well.

See What the Hot Category is Today

 

How do you figure out what everyone wants to bid on today? By checking out the Winner’s Tab. If you haven’t been visiting the Winner’s Tab on a daily basis, then you might have been wasting some wins in a different category that you could have been getting. Most days, there is a category that people are more interested in than others, and you can easily see what categories are hot (or not) by checking the Winner’s Tab and seeing what price items are selling for.

For example, if you go to the Winner’s Tab and see that jewelry is going for less than $1 today, then you probably want to hop yourself on over to the jewelry category and get bidding. Alternately, if you see that home decor items are going for near the retail price, then you probably want to pick a different category to bid on that day.

Not Your Best Bidding Day?

No matter how skilled you are in bidding on auctions, everyone has an “off” day sometimes. To be honest, sometimes that off day can stretch longer into an off week! However, if you are having a tough time in the auctions, you can rest assured that you can receive all of your bids back from DealDash.

If you are having a tough time and don’t win the auction, you can always do a BIN, or Buy It Now, and get all of your bids back. You’ll also get free and fast shipping. When you bid on things that you would actually buy in “real life” for full price, then it’s not a big deal or an inconvenience to do to BIN on an item that you don’t win. It just makes good sense.

A few other tips to take note of when you’re not having a good bidding day:

  • Try a different category
  • Take a break and come back later on
  • Do some research on products instead of bidding
  • Read the DealDash Tips Blog and get some ideas
  • Take a look at your past wins and remember that you are a good bidder who’s just having a bad day
