Tips to Staying Positive – Losing on DealDash

DealDash

Everyone loses sometimes, and it’s important to stay and stay positive even when you’re not winning. Here are some tips from DealDash to help.

We’ve all been there – we begin bidding in an auction, and there are only a few people. You see that the people are new when their bidding bios pop up as they bid. “Oh, this will be easy,” you say, “I’m sure to win.” However, the people keep bidding, and other people keep joining, until there are now 25 different people bidding on this auction. You’re now feeling less and less confident by the moment. We’ve all had this happen to us, and believe me, it’s no fun. However, this isn’t the end of the world. There will be other auctions, and you will win bigger and better things in time. Here are some tips from DealDash to help you through the rough spots.

There’s Always BIN (Buy It Now)

In the above situation that I described there are basically two courses of action – drop out of the auction and lose your bids, or do a BIN. A Buy It Now is the wisest way to use your money and bids on DealDash. With BIN, if you have bid to many times and are still not going to win the item you can purchase it at the retail price that is listed on the auction page. After you have paid you will have all of the bids that you spent on the auction returned to your account. If you’re bidding on an auction that you’re really interested in having, and if you’ve bid close to the purchase price, it only makes sense to do a Buy It Now on the auction.

Remember That There Will Be Other Auctions

DealDash often has the same products available to win every few days or so. And in some cases multiple items of the same kind every day. If you’re losing an auction and you haven’t invested too many bids on it, then maybe you should just bow out, walk away, and find a similar auction the next day. You can easily do a search for anything that you would like to bid on in the search bar on the main page. There are very few things on DealDash that will never show up again. Typically the same items are offered, however, if there is an item that you’re really interested in and you don’t see it in the upcoming auctions, feel free to email DealDash customer service. They do their best to put up items that they know that the bidders are interested in.

DealDash Tips for When You’re Out of Ideas

DealDash

Are you feeling stagnant and out of bidding ideas on DealDash? Maybe it’s time to go back to your roots!

Remember when you first started bidding on DealDash and everything was new and exciting? How you read everything you could about bidding, and how you watched videos to try and get extra tips and tricks? Those days might be behind you now that you’ve been bidding on DealDash for a while, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t turn back the clock and get back to being really invested in spending a lot of time studying up on bidding and strategy.  Let’s think back, with DealDash…

Are You Still Doing Research?

It’s important that you are still doing research on both products, categories, and bidders. DealDash has millions of registered users and gains hundreds more each day. Not only does DealDash get new users daily, it seems like they get new products practically every day as well. Just because you’ve been bidding for a while doesn’t mean that there aren’t still things that you can do research on and learn. Personally, I love reading the DealDash sponsored blogs written by other people. It always gives me different insights and tips.

Remember, research bidders and products in your spare time. If there’s a week that you don’t have any bids to use, visit the auctions anyway and take notes on the other bidders and the final auction prices of any of the items that you are interested in winning.

Does DealDash Still Excite You?

When I first discovered DealDash years ago I was so excited to get home and bid on DealDash. Instead of watching TV in the evenings I would just TiVo my shows so I could play on DealDash. Those were great days, full of excitement and wins and discovery. After a couple of years, though, I found myself not bidding quite as often and things just weren’t as exciting for me. Had DealDash changed? Nope! DealDash is still as exciting as ever, it was me who had gotten stagnant.

How did I get into a rut? By bidding on the same things over and over again. I was not only bidding on the same things, but I was also bidding the same way. Once I broke out of my rut and started bidding on different things and switching up my strategies then DealDash became as exciting as ever! Give it a try. Bid in a different category, bid on new and different things. Use a different strategy. All of these things will lead to getting back to the excitement and adventure that you once had.

Tips for Being in Control of Your Bids

DealDash

Part of DealDash is making sure that you’re in control of your bids and staying within your budget. Here are some tips from DealDash to help.

You wouldn’t pay $100 for a hamburger, so why would you spend 1,000 bids on a small trinket? It’s very important when you have fun on DealDash that you pay attention to what you’re doing and stay within whatever budget that you’ve set for yourself. Sometimes you can lose track of things in the heat of the moment, so here are some ideas to keep you on track and within budget.

Set Your Budget, Set Your BidBuddy

If you know exactly how many bids that you want to spend on a particular auction, then there’s really no need to stick around. That’s what the BidBuddy is for! The BidBuddy is there to bid for you and do exactly as you want him to do. For instance, if it’s a “Free Auction Weekend,’ then you know that it’s safe to bid it up to exactly the retail price so you can BIN (Buy It Now) if you don’t win. So, personally, I would just put in enough bids to reach the BIN price, and then walk away. Because for me, if I stay and watch the auction action, occasionally I get too involved and end up adding more and more and more bids to the BidBuddy! So now, I put in the bids to reach the BIN, and walk away. It works for me.

Keep an Eye on Your Bids While Bidding

If setting the BidBuddy and walking away isn’t really your style or preference, then, by all means, stay and watch! Or even just place single click bids, with DealDash it’s all up to you! However, when you’re bidding, be sure that you keep a very close watch on your bids. Your bids are very easy to watch and keep track of, they are located at the top right of your screen. When you’re placing single bids it’s extremely important to watch your bids. When you use the BidBuddy it’s a lot easier to keep track of them.

Buy Your Bids When They are Cheap!

Saving money is important, and most people like to stick to a budget for the month. So if your budget for bids is $50, great, save it until the bids are .12-.14. If you are ready to buy bids and the price is .17,18,19, then wait! The price of bids fluctuate from day to day, so save your $50 and wait!

Tips to Follow for Big DealDash Wins

DealDash

If you’re looking for big wins, then DealDash is where it’s at! Follow these tips to get more wins than ever before.

Big wins, small wins, any kind of wins are great. And you know what? When you keep winning the small auctions so much that they start to become easy for you, then it’s time to move on to the big wins on DealDash. Winning the big auctions is more of a marathon than a sprint, you need to play the long game and think ahead rather than trying to be sneaky and steal a win. If it’s a really big auction, then it’s doubtful that you’ll be able to win it without a fight – but you never know, stranger things have happened! Read on for more tips from DealDash regarding big wins.

Playing the Long Game

When you have decided to go after the big wins after being successful at smaller auctions you need to change up your strategy a little bit. Just think, when you are trying to get a smaller win then you try to sneak in with a quick win with just a few bids. When you are going after a bigger prize then you should be sure to get a few bids in before the $5 No Jumper limit, but after that, I would sit back and wait for a bit, if I were you. This could cause you to lose the auction if someone DOES get an amazingly quick win, but in most cases, you have some time to stop bidding for a bit, sit, watch, and strategize.

However, If it’s Really Important

However, if this auction is extremely important to you, then perhaps you can aim to be the first bidder as well as the last bidder. If this big auction that you have your eye on is something that you actually need, then by all means put in enough bids to reach the Buy It Now (BIN) limit. For example, if your iPad just broke, or if you really need a new TV, or maybe you lost your digital camera on vacation – these would be perfect times to go ahead and go “all in” and bid the auction up to the limit. Remember, when you BIN an auction for the retail price you’ll get all of your bid back when you pay for the item. Every single bid will be returned to your account to use again on something else. You will get free shipping as well, and get to keep all of the clock time that you accrued during the auction. Depending on the retail price of the auction, that could be a LOT of clock time!
