It’s possible that you see their profile and it looks like they joined today – but this could be a person who played on DealDash years ago and recently re-activated their account. Or they might have been an active bidder on a different bidding website and have recently decided to change over to DealDash, because they’re the best! You should remember that just because a person looks like a newbie doesn’t mean that they don’t have any bidding skills.

Keep Things in Perspective

As you’re bidding, don’t forget to keep things in perspective. This is just a shopping entertainment website. There’s no reason to get upset or sad that you aren’t the winner of a particular auction. When you’re bidding in an auction on DealDash, be sure that you aren’t getting on over your head. For example, if you know that you only have 100 bids in your bid bank and no plans to buy more bids that day, then you probably shouldn’t get into an auction for a high-dollar auction. Sure, people have won TVs and other expensive items for just 100 bids, but it’s fairly unlikely. You would have a much better chance of winning something smaller such as jewelry or a smaller household item.

Only Bid on Your Favorites

In addition to not bidding on large items when you have very few bids, you should really only be bidding on things that you are crazy about. Why in the world would you want to use up your bids on something that you wouldn’t be thrilled to own or to give as a gift? Of course, there is always the option on DealDash to exchange your win for bids, but I personally wouldn’t recommend bidding on things solely to exchange them. Winning something that you love is such a better feeling than winning something that you are only “so-so” about.

Bidding for your lifestyle is important, too. You might really love that kayak or that tent, but if you live in a tiny apartment in the middle of a big city and rarely get out into the wilderness, then they probably aren’t really good items for you to bid on. The same goes for you non-cooks – if your idea of “cooking” is calling for take-out, then you probably shouldn’t be bidding on expensive stand mixers and other high-end kitchen items. Bid on what you love, and what makes sense for your lifestyle.

Let’s face it, DealDash is a fun place to spend money! With all of the bidding, it’s easy to use up your bidding budget pretty quickly if you aren’t paying attention. DealDash tips is here to help you make sure that you’re getting the most for your money. Read the following tips, and the next time you are using DealDash try to think about them and use them. Buying Bids

If you’ve been on DealDash for a little bit you’ll have noticed that the price of bids fluctuates every day. When you buy your first bid pack at .60 per bid you won’t get as many bids for your money as when you can catch a great sale at .13 or .14 per bid. When every new bidder starts they have to buy their first bid pack at .60 per bid. After that, though, they are eligible to take advantage of DealDash’s sale priced bids.

Using BIN to Get Your Bids Back

Using the Buy It Now (BIN) feature is the best way to get the most out of your money when using DealDash. Simply put, if you’re not doing a BIN when you don’t win an auction you’re just throwing money away. Of course, this doesn’t apply if you’re just throwing 10 bids here and 5 bids there. But if you are bidding seriously at 100+ bids, then you should be Buying It Now.

Using BIN is easy! You can immediately do a BIN on an auction that you have been bidding in, even if the auction hasn’t ended yet. On every auction, you will see a big black box on the right-hand side of the page where you can see the details of the ongoing auction. At the bottom of the box, you will see a button that says “Buy this item for ___” When you have decided that you don’t want to bid anymore, just click that box. After you have paid for the item DeaDash will refund all of your bids that you used to try and win this particular item. Yes. Every single one.

This is the best way to get the most out of your money on DealDash. You can recycle your bids as many times as you would like to on DealDash. Just be sure that you are bidding on things that you would normally buy anyway, such as towels, sheets, and other housewares. This way you will make you dollars stretch even further.

Don’t Bid Tired

To be a winner in a DealDash auction takes time and concentration. Both of these things are in short supply when you are tired. You wouldn’t make a big decision when you are half-asleep, so why would you make a lot of little decisions while you are really tired, either? It’s just not a good idea to bid when you’re tired. Either wait til the next auction comes around, or use your BidBuddy and let him do all of the work for you. Which brings me to the next tip…

BidBuddy is the Way to Go

When you’re tired or have other things on your mind, then using BidBuddy is the way to go. You increase your chances of winning by using the BidBuddy when you aren’t in the best frame of mind to bid. If one of your “wishlist” auctions is coming up and you won’t be able to keep your mind on the auction, then let your friend BidBuddy do the work for you.

You can book your BidBuddy a day ahead of time, so if you know that you are going to be too tired to bid then, set up a BidBuddy! This way you have just as good a chance of winning as the next person who is fully and completely rested. However, if you don’t win…

It’s Time to BIN!

If the BidBuddy wasn’t able to win the auction for you, then it’s time to BIN the auction. BINning, or Buying It Now, is the way to go when you have made a good effort to win an auction and have spent a lot of bids. It just makes a lot of sense to pay the retail price and receive back all of your bids.

The way that BIN works is simple! After paying the standard retail price that’s listed on the auction you will receive all of your bids back. You’ll also get free shipping. It’s the best way to get the item that you wanted to win, and getting all of your bids back. It’s the best of both worlds!
