DealDash Tips We Should All Follow

DealDash

There are some tips on DealDash that we should all follow. Read on for some tips from DealDash.

Tons of tips have been given out over the years on this blog, but there are definitely some tips that we all should follow, no matter how experienced we might be. Here are some of those “golden” tips that we should all follow, from DealDash.

Have Bids at All Times

Let me tell you one thing, and that is it’s no fun to run out of bids in the middle of an auction. Imagine, you are bidding on an auction that you have been waiting and watching, and then finally pounced on. Only to realize that you only have a few bids, and the competition is still bidding away. You can always buy bids mid-auction, but the fact of the matter is that sometimes auctions can end very quickly. If it takes you 3 minutes to buy bids that sounds fast, but in reality, the auction could be over and done with by the time you get back. Be sure to have bids in your bid bank.

Be Familiar with the Auctions

If you are a newbie to DealDash, or if you just haven’t used DealDash for a while, be sure that you are familiar with how the auctions work. If you see an auction that you want to participate in but aren’t sure of how to bid or what the rules are, then that can become a problem for you. The simple solution is to read up on the rules, watch a few auctions, and take the tutorial. These are quick and easy things that should only take you a few minutes, but it will save you a lot of frustration if you aren’t sure how things work.

Selected Strategies for Winning from the May 8th Blog

The blog on May 8th was full of suggestions for redefining your bidding strategy on DealDash. Barbara had many great suggestions for strategies, and you’ll want to read the whole thing. From the blog:

Several other long-time DealDash shoppers only place one bid at the beginning of auctions they want to win and then they do not place any more bids until the auction gets close to the retail price that the auction usually closes at.
