Practical Vs Novelty Gifts

What type of gifts do you prefer to receive: practical or novelty? As a down-to-earth, practical kind of person I definitely prefer to receive practical gifts! Regardless of what kind of gifts we prefer, the good news is that we can find plenty of both on DealDash.com.

Practical Gifts

The best thing about receiving a practical gift is that we can usually be sure the person has not wasted their money because it will get plenty of use.

For example, some practical gifts I found on DealDash are:

  • Sheet sets, comforters, throws and towels. DealDash offers many auctions featuring these items.
  • Shoes, socks, purses and gloves are usually always very much appreciated. DealDash also offers plenty of auctions featuring these items.

Novelty Gifts

Some people prefer receiving novelty gifts because they see them as having a more personal touch. The only problem is that we must really know a person’s likes and dislikes well enough to get something they will really like.

For example, some novelty gifts I found on DealDash are:

  • Perfume, rings and earrings are lovely gifts, but we really have to know a person’s taste because many women are extremely particular when it comes to personal gifts like this. Therefore, I won a variety of rings and earrings, put them in a box and allowed my friends select the ones they liked most.
  • Oil paintings would also be something I would include in my novelty gift list, and DealDash offers many lovely oil paintings. Sometimes these oil paintings sell at really good bargain prices, too.

Seven Questions for Happy Shoppers

The first time I found DealDash.com I had so much fun shopping, I didn’t want to stop. I quickly became a 24-7 shopper.

It’s easy to get caught up in the excitement of winning some awesome products at bargain prices. But it’s also important to be a happy shopper. Responsible shoppers are happy shoppers. DealDash wants happy customers because happy customers always come back for more.

Therefore, I developed the following list of the seven questions happy shoppers are most likely to ask:

  1. Is it easier to win the auctions where the Buy It Now price is low rather than auctions where the price is high? As a general rule, the higher the Buy It Now value of the product, the more bids it takes to win it. However, some customers place bids on high-value auctions and get pleasantly surprised every day.
  2. Does the same auction product go up for auction several times a day? If so, should I try an auction at a different time instead?
  3. If we do not win the auction, could we afford to Buy It Now and get all of our bids back free?
  4. In addition to the selling cost of the auction, we must remember that the total cost includes what we spend on the number of bids used to win. Check to see how many bids past winners used to win the auction.
  5. How many power bidders do we see in the auction? Did we check to see the screen names of everyone who recently won a large bid pack? If one of our competitors recently won a large bid pack, we might not want to try to outbid him or her.
  6. Would we have the time to monitor the auction from beginning to end? How long might it take for the auction to close?
  7. Is this auction product something you or your family might need and will use?

Are you a happy shopper? By making a check list like the one above, it could help DealDash shoppers make more responsible shopping choices. Happy shopping everyone!

More New Cars

If you have not looked at DealDash.com lately, look again!

Seven DealDash shoppers already won a brand new car, and 15 other new vehicles have not yet been won. Four are still open and have not yet been closed to new bidders. Can you imagine how exciting it would be to win a 2019 brand new vehicle for a fraction of the list price?

Take your pick: Ford, Honda, Chevrolet, Toyota, Nissan or Volkswagen. Choose any of the many makes and models of the new vehicles now available and place your bids. Who knows, with the right bidding strategy, you could be the next winner.

I know what you might be thinking — how? How in the world could I afford to buy enough bids to win a new car? I have not yet won a new car. I had to tighten my budget because I first have to pay for a new roof on my house instead. However, as soon as I can afford to shop for a new vehicle, I have some good ideas on what kind of strategies might work.

This is what I will do:

  • I will choose the vehicle that I would most like to win.
  • I will only place bids on one car at a time. We probably all heard the quote: “Never put all your eggs in one basket!” However, I do not think that would apply in this case. The new vehicles are now limited to one per customer, anyway.
  • I will figure out how many bids I can afford to buy and only place my bids when the bidding gets down to the last two or three active bidders.
  • I will figure out how much I could pay for the new vehicle and I will quite bidding when the cost to the winner goes above that amount.

It is great fun shopping on DealDash, but it’s up to each one of us to shop responsibly, know what our financial limits are and stick with them. Happy shopping everyone!
