DealDash Has Tips for Newbies

There’s no shame in needing a little help when you’re new. Here are some tips for using DealDash for newbies.

Hello, welcome to the DealDash Tips Blog! If you’re new to the blog and DealDash in general, it’s a good thing that you found us. We are here to answer your DealDash questions, explain how the site features work, give you bidding tips, and occasionally reveal upcoming bid prices and promotions. Read on for more information about the services that the DealDash Tips Blog provides.

Do you have any questions that you would like to ask about DealDash? Are you interested in DealDash history, how the site works, and how to use your dashboard? Please feel free to ask questions in the comments section of any blog articles. If I don’t personally know the answer I can find it for you. Don’t be shy, ask questions if you have any.

Site Features

DealDash is a very unique website, and has features that aren’t found anywhere else. A few of them can be a little confusing at first, but the DealDash Tips Blog is here to help. If you’re confused about the BidBuddy (automated bidding tool), Bid meter (earn free bids), or the bookmarking and alert me features, then you’re in the right place. If you look through our archives you will find articles about these subjects as well as other site features.

Bidding Tips

When you’re a new bidder on DealDash you might not be bidding to your advantage. You can bid however you like, but there are many tips and tricks to bid more efficiently and get more wins. For example, did you know that “stomping” (or bidding immediately after someone else) is considered rude in the DealDash world? You might be annoying other bidders without even meaning to!

DealDash Tips for Less Loss

We all love DealDash auctions. Today we are going to tell you some things that you shouldn’t be doing. Want to have less losses? Read this article.

Do you want to know what you should avoid doing while bidding on DealDash? Here are some tried and true tips to win more and lose less! Read this article to gain some insights on how to get more wins and enjoy DealDash to the fullest extent.

Don’t Put All of Your Eggs in One Basket

When you’re bidding on DealDash it’s important not to put all of your bids into one auction – fill up your BidBuddy with the equivalent to the retail price if you’d like, of course, but don’t overbid! I know that you probably are hoping to rack up some more clock time as the highest bidder (TATHB) to earn free bids from DealDash, but don’t do it! It only takes a moment for the other bidders to drop out and then you will be stuck “winning” the auction, but really losing money, if you have paid more in bids than the auction is worth.

A much better plan would be to stop bidding when you have reached the retail price with the value of bids, and then BIN (Buy It Now) the auction for the retail price so you can get all of your bids back. You will also receive free shipping and get to keep your TATHB time as well.

Don’t Spread Yourself Too Thin, Either

Even though you shouldn’t put all of your eggs into one basket, you should spread yourself too thin, either! I personally never bid in more than three auctions or so at a time. I like to keep an eye on each one, even if I am using the BidBuddy in all of them. The only exception that I make to this personal rule is on the days that DealDash runs their “50 (or 75 or 100) auctions start at once” promotion. There are always so many great things to bid on that I couldn’t possibly just pick three!
